People (mostly teachers and old people) have been calling me carolyn my entire life. And even when I correct them (most people will ask the correct pronunciation even though they have no intention of using it) they continue to say "lyn" instead of "line". Now I just respond to whatever and don't correct them because it's an unwinnable war lol

99% of the teachers/profs I've had in my life say my name like "Carolyn" so it makes me wonder if Carolyn was a really popular name in the 70s and 80s or something

Thanks! Rose was my great grandmother. I like my simple, old fashioned name. When I was younger I went by Rose Ann, my first and middle name. Nobody spelled it right and ppl made fun of me and called me Roseanne Barr. Now if anyone calls me by both names I get mad. So I know how it feels to have ppl butcher your name and not care. I thankfully do not have to deal with it anymore, I dont have the patience anyway haha.

Erica! Nothing fancy.

My IAT username is just a reference to the other usernames I've used on different online communities and forums. When I was younger it was "attackbunny" lol ^_^

Girllll don't even talk to me about people butchering your name! I get so many different spelling and pronunciations its really just like whatever now haha.
