newbie questions
so... ive been tanning for prob (on and off) 4 yrs. i stop then start again. ive been tanning about once or twice a week now for a while and have some questions.
my face will NOT tan! i dnt know if i need a strong lotion on i or what so im looking for suggestions. as well as my face my hands never get that dark- i think they fade a lot due to the fact that i am constantly washing my hands. i work at a daycare so im always washing :). ive used middle of the line anning lotions as well as cheapies. im loking for a decent priced one with the most tanning potential for the $. i have a "normal" skin type so i tan ok and rarely burn, umless i over do it at the beach or watev. any advice would help! thanks :)

Re: newbie questions
Welcome back to tanning :-) The face is often the most difficult area of the body to tan. It exfoliates faster and is much more delicate than the rest of your body. In order to tan your face well and take care of that delicate area, you need to use a facial tanning lotion. A couple of good ones that I can recommend are Crystal Faces (Australian Gold and my absolute fav), Privilige (Designer Skin, this one contains a bronzer and is one of my favs), or Surface (Devoted Creations) hopefully your salon carries one of those lines :-) If the bed that you are currently using does not have facial tanners I would also recommend upgrading on occasion to one that does, that can help ALOT! As far as your hands go, that's a tricky situation. Washing your hands alot is definitly the culprit of your color-loss there. The only thing I can really suggest is that you use a tan-extending moisturizer like Endless with Bronzer (Swedish Beauty) that contains a little bit of a bronzer, but beware, it could turn your palms a little orange!
I hope that helped!

Re: newbie questions
Also using abed with HP facials usually helps. BUT if you are only using a bed with HP facials. Flip around in in every once in a while so it gets UVA and UVB . Helps your face AND your legs get darker.

Re: newbie questions
I would try a facial tanning lotion, and a high-powered bed with face bronzing panels. This should help!Regards, Victoria Sun Tan City Let Yourself Shine www.suntancity.com victoria@suntancity.com
