I've been using sunless tanners since Mid September, and i've been tanning about 2-3 times a month just to keep a base. Its really all in the application. go to www.sunless.com and join the message boards, and read up on EVERYTHING. try out the LL Method, i haven't tried it yet, but i am making a batch tonight. what it is: take a empty bottle of lotion and put a ratio of 1/3 sunless tanner 2/3 regular lotion. the lotion is so diluted, it makes it impossible to streak. you put it on everyday for like a week, and once you get your desired color, put it on every other day. its so easy to put on, and doesn't smell, that you can put it on in the morning before work. you are less likely to turn orange because you are 'building' up your tan day by day, just like you would in the sun. i'm trying it out tonight, and about 5 days from now i'll let you know how its goin.

Am I talking about DHA Bronzers or sunless tanners you mean? Sunless tanners, if thats your question. A DHA Bronzer would be wayyyyy to light to use in the LL Method. Boo - I think you should try this out, i can't wait to my self!. A good (DARK) Product for you to use, since you are already so dark, would be Clinique Dark Self Sun (get the kind without the added cosmetic bronzer). you can find it at most department stores or http://www.clinique.com
For full instructions on the LL Method, click this URL: http://www.sunless.com/phorum/read.php?f=1&i=218472&t=2 18472 _________________ ForeverTan27[ This Message was edited by: ForeverTan27 on 2003-11-02 14:09 ] |

Boo - don't be scared hearing "Sunless Tanners" and think streak streak streak orange orange orange
The whole purpose of the LL Method is to reduce Streaks, smell, and ORANGE! It is so diluted that it is virtually impossible for all of the above to happen. You can apply it before going to school, just like you would your Daily Moisturizer. after you apply it take a wet cloth and simply wipe over your nails/palms/toe nails. I really think you should try it. The LL Method could be used as an indoor tanning lotion also. |

Heres the update: I've been putting the "LL Method" on my stomach, face, kneck, arms, and shoulders - NOT my legs or back. My stomach is a tad darker then my back, and my back is a REAL tan. I am getting a medium tan from this, but the product im using is very light. If you're going to do this, I would use a dark product. Good luck
