She's baa-ack!

I'm not sure if you all remember my post a few months ago, I bet you've never seen this happen at a salon, but the ‘clothes lady’ has made another appearance at the salon.

This time, she brought in two bags of clothes that totally smelled of smoke that she needed to ‘tan’ :roll:. Well, all of the beds were engaged, so one of the employees suggested that she might be able to use the stand-up unit and proceded to search for something that she could hang the clothes with [at this point I was in the back room with some of my friends laughing so hard, my eyes were beginning to tear-up :lol:]. She couldn't find anything, so the lady had to wait for a bed to become available.

After the lady left with her ‘deodourised’ / tanned clothes, one of my friends went to sanitize the bed. When she returned she was like ‘oh h**l no...that room stinks’, so we all went back there and the entire back part of the salon smelled like cigarettes and BO [even more so than some of the parties I've been to] :Sick:. One of the hairstylists there said that the lady looked like she was out of her mind and couldn't believe it when I told her that she was a kindergarten teacher .

Well, that's about all that happened this time, but I promised that I'd keep everyone updated....:)

that is like so bizarre :lol: n its gross but i guess naked people (dirty or clean naked people) lay on beds too so whats the diff i guess!!? haha

That's what the hairstylist who assigned her the bed told us. She said that it wasn't worse than anyone lying naked on there and wasn't any more of a fire hazard than someone tanning in a swimsuit...I'm still not 100% comfortable with the idea :lol:.

They really need to show this lady the laundramat or the dry cleaners SOMETHING!! She really needs to figure something else out!

That's what I'm saying. There has to be better methods for removing the smell of cigarettes from clothes.

This still strikes me as odd. Heat intensifies scent so I'm inclined to think it would have the opposite effect on her clothes. I wonder why she doesn't just wash them in a laundry machine and/or hang them out to dry.

That is pretty weird, I wouldnt even think that would work lol
