My friend has a newer bed, but with high hours (her family of 6 uses it, like daily). After her lamp change she noticed it wasnt "lighting up as fast". I was at her house and decided to tan and noticed the same exact thing, it took the bed like 2 minutes to get all the lamps lit up, it is a sunvision so it uses starters..Actually, 4 lamps flickered throughout the whole session, wouldnt you think it just needs new starters?, thats what I told her I thought, but I said I would ask a few other people opinion..

Re: Starters?
Yes, that is prob. what it is, I just had to replace the starters on my bed because it did that same exact thing, some of the lamps hesitated to light when I turned the bed on and as soon as I replaced the starters with new ones they lit right up. The ones for my bed were around $3 each. (Also it could be that some are loose, maybe check and make sure they are in securely, she could have bumped them when relamping.)
