New tanner, need MAJOR help

Hello! :)
Im new to tanning and need some advice! I am fair skinned and was wondering what kind of lotion I should use and how long i should tan for. I don't have a huge budget so expensive lotions even though there better arent really an option. I want to get a base tan for florida and then continue to tan for my prom. What do i need to do before and after? im a HUGE novice here so all advice is greatly appreciated. thank you :)

I recently started and honey dew hemp and pink Pineapple tini are great accelerators. Accelerators help build that base tan and you need to moisturize, I use hemp body moisturizer from Walmart. Its tropical mojito and smells great. I would start out low 4 or 5 minutes. I was white when I started and they put me in at 6 minutes on a 15 min base bed and I burned so I had to wait till the red went away before I could tan again. If you don't turn red keep bumping up the minutes just 1 at a time so you don't over do it. Hope this helps. Use an accelerator, and tan for a short time (I started with 6 mins) in a base bed depending on your skin type. There is a sticky on this forum where you can answer the questionnaire and determine your skin type. I am also fair skinned and I'm a 3a, so I started with 6 mins and bumped up a minute every other day.

My favorite accelerator is Lime n da Coconut, others that are popular on this site are Pink Pineapple Tini, Snooki Maximizer, Honey Dew Hemp, Love Notes, and Fierce D Fense.
