Starting All Over

It's been about two years since I've been in a tanning bed, so I have noo idea about what lotions are good, or where I should even start again. I have really fair skin, usually don't burn tho, I don't want anything with bronzers...just looking for some suggestions on what will build my tan the fastest : ) Thanks!!!

&& just one more question! lol I've always just used my regular lotion on my face...is that okay or are lotions designed for your face really much better??

Definitely give Snooki Maximizer or Designer Skin Phoenician. If you're concerned about price, Snooki Maximizer is cheaper. An if you're just starting to tan again, I would go ahead and use a lotion made for your face. These are the most common on this forum: Devoted Creations SurFace, Devoted Creations Guiltless Glamour, Australian Gold Crystal Faces, California Tan Cypher face - blue and pink/tan bottle.

After your base you should try to use natural bronzers or try DHA.
Pauly D's Bronze Beats is a good natural bronzer and it smells like warm vanilla sugar!

There are a bunch of different recommendations for natural and DHA lotions, it all depends on what your price range is, what scents and feels you like and what brands work well with your skin

I don't even remember what kinds I used to use. I just remember trying a couple of bronzers out and them turning me orangey. I'm sure they weren't the best I could be using though, still kinda scares me!. When I stopped tanning I was using Bombshell..which I know has bronzers and it didn't make me orange looking.. obviously can't start out with that though : ) lol
What do the face lotions do differently?

Face lotions are usually hypo-allergenic and leave out ingredients which clog pores and cause break-outs (such as silicone).

The Snooki line has great lotions, and they come in accelerator, bronzer and tingle/bronzer. Everybody likes them. Jwoww Black Bronzer (a DHA-free bronzer) is also popular here. I really like Ed Hardy Show Girl too. It's not an extreme bronzer, it has a wonderful scent, and it's very cheap for a silicone bronzer.

Im going to have to add CT HD Ava I will always use and reorder this lotion. Its amazing and it smells like roses!

Accelerators are my FAVORITE! Because then you know it is your natural tan, and not just bronzers. My favorites are:
Fiesta Sun: Pink Pineapple tini
Supre: Honey Dew Hemp, I hear Snooki maximizer is amazing
Swedish Beauty: Perfectly Dark (favorite lotion ever), Be desired
Australian Gold: Hot! (another fave & there's one with or without bronzers), Fierce D'Fense (very good for winter), Eco Freek, Crystal 1
Designer Skin: Intrigue, Phoenician
California tan: HD Ava, HD Bridget (smells better than ava imo)


Once you start to develop some color, I would add in natural bronzers, again, some of my favorites are:
Devoted Creations: Trust Fund Baby (LOVE!)
Swedish Beauty: Enchanted Beauty, Steal the Limelight, Berry Beautiful
Designer Skin: Love potion #3
Australian Gold: Jwoww Black Bronzer, Jwoww Private Reserve, & I hear Sterling is very good


Since you know what to expect with tingles, when you are ready I think a good one to try is SB Be Envied. It says it's only a t2, but this one was more of a mild-medium tingle to me and a few others


And then there is DHA bronzers, that can turn you orange if you are not careful, but Cypher Optimizer (in the purplish silver bottle) is a very good one that won't turn you orange & it has some of the best skin care ingredients in it
