No. I have not had issues with tanning and my contacts. If the fans are really strong, they will dry out and I use my Blink drops.

I use to not ever but for whatever reason everytime I tan with my contacts now they get so dry and my eyes red and just water like im crying the next day its not fun its as if I have pink eye but I don't. If I'm going to be tanning I wear my glasses now. It could just be me though..but I am so clean with my contacts and clean them daily I know it's not a hygiene issue.

I usually Tan at the end of day,So I take em out after anyway..
But when I do tan in the Mornings(usually Sat and/ or Sun) I use some re-wetting drops after.

I SO need a pair of glasses. I don't take my contacts out for a couple reasons. One, I'm blind without them. Two, I don't want to get lotion on them! This wouldn't be a problem tanning at home 'cause I wash my hands after putting lotion on. I'd probably fall down the basement steps thou.

I have read that contacts need to be removed to get the Vitamin D absorbtion (sp?) thou.

I take this back. I think i know the problem. I tanned today with my contacts and didn't have any issues. So my theory is that it's the lotion I put on my face. I have a bottle of vanishing act that I've been using and I'm started to think its something regarding the acne "treating" ingredients (which idk why I got it because I dont have acne lol) that may be causing it since it gives off this weird cooling effect. hmmm?

i never have. the only thing is if i close my eyes for the whole session (i usually end up almost asleep) my contacts get that dry feel like when u fall asleep with them and they stick to ur eye balls.... so i keep my rewetting drops on hand. i too am blind without them!

Twice,

The second time was using a tingle lotion, needless to say, I will never do that again. My eyes were red for hours.

7 years later, no issues.
