Wow that is horrible. Best wishes on a full and speedy recovery and I hope the ones that did this to him are punished.

Re: Could everyone please check out...

Wow, I'm sorry to just now be seeing this....this is terrible. Made me ill. I have a brother 2 years older than me and we are very close and I couldn't even imagine what you are feeling. I'm so sorry this happened. People are so heartless and cruel. I will post this where I can for you.
Any new updates?

I can't believe some low life no good bleepity bleep bleeps would do that! I can, but I can't. I can because I know people can be the cruelest. I cannot because I would think that basic human decency should have over come them before doing something so cruel.

I am sorry, and I will pass the word on LYS.
I remember on one of the episodes of Real World one of the main characters was hit right under the eye, breaking the bone, and the diagnosis was similar: if it had gone any further, it would have caused instantaneous death. That area must be vulnerable as you said.

From what I've heard, Chaz is doing a lot better and his return to work was okay for the most part. I'll be sure to ask next time I talk to Sarah.

Re: Could everyone please check out...

My prayers are with him and his family; I'll light a candle in their honor. Best wishes to the victim and his loved ones for a speedy and complete recovery, inside and out.

The blog was beautifully written. The love and honesty is clear. However, when I read the linked newspaper article, I couldn't help but feel that some comments made by police/officals seemed to have a rather negative undertone. Did anybody else notice hints of ignorance? If you attack someone because of their sexual orientation, to me that's a hate crime.

Please feel free to keep us updated on all progress. Healing can come slowly, as can the legal process. Rest assured though, those attackers will get what they deserve... in this life, the next or BOTH. They judged their victims, and they too will be judged, one way or another.
