Members of Planet Fitness

Is anyone here a member of Planet Fitness? I know they have gyms all over the country, so I thought I'd ask. My husband and I are joining today and was wondering what you thought of the one you go to? The atmosphere is supposed to be really friendly and "judgement free" or something like that. Do you like the machines they have there?

I used to be a member of a different one, but only went a couple of times. I joined with a friend who had knee problems ( so she didn't last long) and didn't really want to go alone. I'm determined to go on a regular basis and tone up.

I go. It's cheap and not bad. I would suggest it but not someone who is really serious about going to the gym all the time. It's a good start up place or a place for someone who wants to go once in a while (kind of like a cheaper not that great quality tanning place, it's ok at first but then you are just so ready to move on). I go to two diferent locations and one other thing I really don't like is that 90% of the people who go there look like they are in high school or just starting college.
