Do you think its better to work out, say for example 4-5 days a week (in a row) or workout every other day? Or does it all just depend on preference?

Totally on preference, Denisa. But in general you should do a different muscle group each day to avoid overtraining, but you can do some kind of cardio every day. I workout on average 6 days a week but that is going through a cycle of cardio and weight training, targeting different areas of the body. But you can do fine going every other day.

Okay, thanks, I was just curious. I was talking to a friend of mine and he works out every other day..he says its not good to workout everyday because you can exhaust yourself.. I feel like I get a better workout as a whole if work out 5 days in a row!

I try to workout 4 to 5 days a week. Your body buids resistance and maybe you can`t do it at first but eventually there is no problem. Specially if you work one or two muscle groups per day.
