Sunburned nipples...

Okay, kind of a strange topic, I know. But a friend of mine just started tanning and she burned herself, including her nipples. Is there anything she can do to help?? Thanks!

Put SPF on them before she tans. I have been thinking for some time that they really should make nipple protectors for tanners! I mean, I have really gotten brown, but I didn't expect the nipples to follow suit! Hey you salon owners, get some stickers that are just round and maybe that come in small, medium and large! Or maybe we can just use winkies! lol!
Seriously, that must be uncomfortable for her. I guess the usual sunburn relief, and cover those babies up next time!

did her nipples burn worse or just also? if it isn't any worse, I'd just say the ususal. aloe, lotion, etc. and stay away from sun until it's better and decrease the time. if they burned worse, I don't know how to prevent that...

They do make such a thing, but not a big market for them. Don't remember the manufacturer...

hmmm...I've thought about this before, but I never had a problem with it, you could use spf chapstick...I mean it something we all already have

Yikes! Im so glad that has never happened to me!!!! I had never really thought that that particular body part could get sunburned, but i guess i've just been one of the lucky ones that has never had to experience it.

You can put Winkease on your nipples to keep them from burning

We sell millions of Wink-Ease and Viewkeepers (they are larger) for nipple protection. Exotic dancers have to wear them as pink nipples are mandatory. And nursing moms want to protect their nipples.

I always cover that up the nipples with asmall towel. That way they dont get tanner then i want them,or burnt

Chapstick doesn't go on well. I've been using CT's Heliotherapy Lip Gel (spf 25). Of course, I'm past the pink point, well into brown. Should've thought of this sooner!

I use winkease my self, but they do make nipple covers for tanning. The winkease seemed a little small.

hmm..... mie actually have a couple itchy bumps on them. Although; my nipples were never "PINK" after I reached puberty. The are like lips on your face, everyones are a different hue!!!!!

umm...for burned nipples...when i first started tanning i put spf sunblock on them...then i alternated days wearing the spf & not wearing it, then finally they didnt burn ne more

I like mine when they tan but sometimes I use some spf when I feel like it. Its kinda like the tantoos, something new to do.
