The ads and Me

I have thought about this for a little bit now and I have sent an e-mail to Solid about them. Until I hear back from him about the ads and his intentions I cannot continue to participate on this site. Out of respect for all the hard working tanning salon owners and suppliers who have spent so much time and money fighting diversion it would just be wrong of me or any other salon owner to post anything on this site or be associated in any way with this site in my opinion. Others do what you will but until the ads come off I cannot be a part of this site any longer. Sorry for the drama, but we all have to follow a moral compass somewhere and this is the line in the sand for me. Good luck to all and I look forward to returning here when the ads are gone.

Rich, I am going to have to agree with you. How can you advertise Planet Beach tanning and diversion sites on the same page? This is a big mistake. Any of these sites that are selling lotions that are salon protected will be shot down like low-flying-ducks!!

I just don't understand why even the word diversion gets censored but here we are with ads that promote it.

I can think of two possible scenarios for what's happening.

1. Solid and Chunn simply implemented google ads and google looks at the site and posts tanning ads automatically. Thus Solid and Chunn are ignorant of the situation and the blatant compromise.

2. Solid and Chunn know exactly what they are doing and have decided that since they have a popular site and can gain revenue from ads, that lotion diversion is not such a loss for them personally anymore.

I seriously doubt #2 is true and would like to think these individuals have greater integrity considering their positions on other issues such as vulgar language and tollerance of others.

Its just like the warning system, if everyone starts to express their inner madness im sure we can have them make this thing go away.

Money talks....I just know that come monday morning I'm calling Planet Beach Corporate and having them research this....bet they pull there ads!!!!
