Dumb Question?

Do you put on an after-tan moisturizer as soon as you get out of the tanning bed, or do you wait a while? I was wondering because if the DHA bronzers take a while to oxidize on your skin, would the moisturizer interfere with that? (Geez, maybe I just need to get a life! I'm pretty dark, I must be doing something right, but I am driven to get more information!)

no you're doing the right thing by asking questions... that's how we all learned what we know.

I do not put on an after-tan moisturizer right away for a few reasons.
1) I do quite often use a DHA bronzer so I don't want to mess up the way it's applied to my skin and possibly streak myself.
2) One of the criteria for lotions that I like/buy is that they must be very moisturizing.... so after tanning, my skin is usually good until bedtime at which point I apply the lotion.

Please don't ever feel like you're asking a stupid question. We want you to feel comfortable sharing your experiences and gathering information so you can develop a beautiful dark tan.

yea i usually wait too since most lotions i use are extremely moisturizing and/or bronzers

Hmm. I do have a pic of me pale, but don't have one since I started tanning. Have no digital camera. Sigh. I'll see if I can get someone to take one of me soon. Tried to upload one of my dog but it was too big. He is very dark!

I used to put on Fully Loaded after every Session, and I still do if I've used a Tingle that session, FL is awesome for soothing my skin after a tingle... what about you??

I wait a while. I don't put on mosturizer until I feel like I need it. Most lotions keep me moisturized for a least a few hours after tanning.

I always wait a few hours before moisturizing, unless I just used a tingle and I am really dry.

I always mousturize after I take my shower in the morning, and sometimes before I go to bed. Depends on if i'm feeling dry yet or not
