hey guys...
I've just recently started tanning(indoor) about a week now. I was wondering what exactly a burn from indoor tanning might appear to look like.I was wondering because I get a fairly nice light tan on most of my body, but I get a little patch of pink spots on the lightest part of my skin(it goes away within 10-15 mins) I was just curious if that would appear to be somewhat a burn or just a slight rash from the heat of the tanning bed? thanks in advance! ; )

If it goes away in 10 or 15 minutes that doen't sound like a burn. It is most likely a reaction to the heat from the bed.

if it's going away within 15 mins it's not a burn it's just your skin is flushed because of the heat. a burn is a regular burn if it develops over a few hours and stays red/pink then it is a burn. going away within a few mins or with the application of cool water is not

Yeah, it isn't a burn. I get pink sometimes just from being hot in the bed, or where my skin was actually touching the bed.

like everyone else said, its probably just a heat rash type thing

Yeah, I agree with it not being a "burn" but rather just your skin being flushed from tanning, I also get this too.. but I've found a great lotion to help with the problem.. Halo by DS! I just love it, and when I use it I don't get pink much at all now
