I have a great tan going, but I like to spend alot of time outdoors in the summer, what lotions and oils can I use? What should I avoid?
I mystic tan, and bed tan, and do use bronzers occasionally in the bed so I am concerned about streaking with just regular old hawaiian tropic......

Last summer I used Melted Butter and Brown Envy at the beach. I really liked the convenience of spraying the melted butter on and not having to rub it in, especially when dealing with sand.

remember to use SPF outdoors. tanning in a bed is a controlled environment, tanning outside is not....

Last year I used Ocean Potion xtreme intensifier w/bronzer. Sometimes I used it just for a moisturizer because the bronzer made me look a little darker. This year I am using ocean potion xcelerator spray gel. I also picked up a bottle of b-bronze SPF 4 by sexy u. We have a pool so I spend a lot of time outside. A lot of people like the sexy u so I can't wait to see if it works. I have a tube of butter, but I couldn't imagine using that in the summer. I prefer thinner lotion when I'm outside.

well i just bought cal tan's spf oil too bad it's made with mineral oil so i may take it back and get something else. i really liked the melted butter outside i also really liked forbidden. i doubt u'd streak unless u used a bronzer outside and didn't rub it in very well. don't use a tingle outside since they are designed for indoor use in a controlled environment, and outside is not that controlled place

so once the dha is set, you CAN use something with mineral oil and not streak? (I know mineral oil is not good but I need to know if you can use it)

The Pros will know better....but...

SPF 15 will keep your skin from burning in a certain amount of time...
The SPF 50 will last longer, so you don't have to apply it as often...

It is nice to have some natural sun sometimes. And I love the beach.
