The only time I have not tanned because of weather is when it is HOT outside, and the thought of laying in a hot bed too just seems awful! LOL I usually stick to my schedule though, regardless of weather.

I go to the beach when it's sunny and to the salon when it's rainy in the summer.
I work and coach until June so I have no time for the beach until then. Sept-June is salon only.

I have never noticed a difference in my tan. Have you noticed a difference?

I prefer to tan when its cold outside or rainy. I feel so warm and toasty afterwards.. Like today, it was chilly and overcast, I went tanning and now I don't need a jacket!

I hate to tan when it is really hot outside, I might have to upgrade to the Diva5 this summer because it has the airconditioner built in. Or also might have to get some chilling lotion. When I lived in Ohio I loved to tan in the winter because it felt so great after being outside in the blistery cold weather.

I'll tell you that a day like today affects tanning immensly. We have flood warnings all over north alabama! Sandollar Tanning's parking lot is flooded with 8 inches of rain!

yeah, but you guys are under like a tornado watch and stuff aren't you?

Temperature really has no bearing on me. If there is ice / snow, forget it! Any threat of severe weather (tornado warnings), forget it! Otherwise it's all good
Greta, a watch means conditions are favourable for severe thunderstorms including tornadoes. As long as ther isn't a warning for the said county, or about to be a warning, you can go ahead. Listen to the radio or check out the radar for supercells (hook echoes) nearby before you go.

Hmm. my state is now under 2 separate tornado watches which encompass the NW 1/3rd of the state. Anyhoo, since I'm talking about weather stuff, I'll drop you a link to the storm prediction center website: http://www.spc.noaa.gov/
Sorry if this post is a bit OT

Nah, the weather doesn't really affect my tanning too much, unless it's raining really hard, then I don't want to go out and get soaked

i prefer to tan on days that aren't terribly humid. living where i live, well, it's pretty sticky down here.
for the most part, i don't care what the weather is like as long as the beds are hot and the a/c is cranked up!

I don't tan much in the winter. It's not really worth it since it's 5 degrees out with a windchill of -10 and you're bundled up from head to toe.

I tan no matter what the weather is as long as the roads are clear and the salon is open - I really Love going in the winter it cheers me up to be warm and tan when its so cold and nasty outside!

The weather here isn't really an impediment to tanning (quite the reverse actually) which is probably why I do it year round.
The weather does not affect when I tan at all. In fact I went out in a snowstorm to tan today!

I think it is the best whenever it is real cold out to tan because it just feels so great for that 20 mins...but when you get back outside....well thats another story

I go anytime as long as it's not icy, or stormy. I really love to tan in the winter when it is cold. Those hot beds feel sooooooooo goooooooooooood!!!!!!

I only tan in the months that you would "naturally get a tan" here in Nebraska. I feel like I am giving my skin a rest the other months off. I don't mind tanning in hot weather, because I know it will feel hotter outside.
