Okay I use a bronzer-free, tingle free lotiong *Ambrosia from CalTan* I wanted to try a stand up today and have Peepers w/ the string for my eyes. The only thing is, will the string that hold the eyeware on leave a small tanline on my temples?

I've never had a problem with peepers leaving tan lines.

You can always move the string every few minutes or so, this way the won't be in one place the whole time and leave a tan line. Also, viewkeepers or winkease are disposable eyewear that you stick on-no strings so you won't have to worry about getting a tanline. They work great in stand-ups.

I always wear my peepers and string in the stand up, I only noticed a faint line on my temples after like 5 months of tanning, bt it is nothing, you can't even tell, bt yea if you want you can always just try to have the string in a different spot every feew mins, or even every time you tan.

I always use winkeaze. If you're worried about lines I'd recommend them!

Ouch, burnt underarms.I left my arms up too long once.I can't ever get my eyewear elastic adjusted right.Too loose or too tight.I use Winkease in the HP or the stand ups.

when i wore my peepers or any eyewear with strings i move the string around on my head so it doesn't sit in one spot the whole time i am tanning

I dont' know what kind of eyewear I have but i bought it for 5 bucks at my salon. The string is clear so the uv should still tan that area and not leave lines. I lost my string the first day so I can't say for sure.

I made the mistake of buying the Ooggles. Only problem is that they don't stay snapped to the nose piece very well!

Yea, I've heard some of them don't stay together very well. I like peepers for goggles, myself.

I always wear wink ease for stand up. I get those strap markes near round my face from the string if I use peepers

I'm going to have to try moving them around more too in the stand up. I'm also starting to get some faint lines.

i never use the stand up enough i guess to see tan lines from the eye wear. either that or the color change isnt drastic enough to notice any lines!

I use the Peepers without the string, even in standup, and they don't fall off...

we got a new type of eyewear in the other day. it has an elastic band built in and a circle of dark plastic to cover your eye. I am not sure who makes them, but i like them since i usually flip over. they would probably be great for a stand-up.

I use winkese and they are great, also you can spot use a slef tanner for your face or a concealer to fill in the light spots

Come back and talk to use in a few years when you can't see. Not wearing eyewear is one of the most irresponsible things you can do during tanning. Why would you not wear eyewear?

BRADSTONE!!!!

Are you nuts? SILLY MONKEY, WEAR EYEWEAR!

1. You can lose your ability to see colors. Yes, that's right, BLACK AND WHITE, for the rest of your little life.
2. It's the law; shouldn't the employee at your tanning salon be making sure you have them?

I used to give an ear-full to people who choose not to protect their eyes, but I don't bother anymore. Not my eyes; not my problem. If I owned a salon, I'd put up one of those nasty eye pictures.
