i started tanning about 2 weeks ago...i have fair skin blue eyes blonde hair...i go in a browning bed (thats what my salon calls it)...i have been getting incredibly itchy after tanning..n now have just noticed a group of red bumps below my left shoulder blade..they dont itch n i didnt even notice they were there until i felt them..is this bad..what could they be?..thank you

It sounds like it could be a heat rash. I'm not a professional at all so don't take my word for it but if I had to guess that is what I would take a stab at.

is there anyway to get rid of it...should i wait for it to go away before i go tanning again?

It usually goes away on its own in a few days. It's caused by overheating, your sweat gets trapped beneath your skin and causes tiny bumps and red skin, and it makes you itchy.

try moving around in the bed, or flipping over to give your back a chance to cool off.

I had a customer tell me the other day that she is using Selsun Blue on her heat rash & it's getting better.I never heard of that.Only using it for sun spots.
