beginning tingle with bronzer?

I've been using JA Melaplus for 6 weeks now and I'm ready to boost my base tan. My salon recommended a sample of Swedish Beauty Sinful. I didn't really feel anything while I was in the bed, but 45 minutes later while sitting on the couch my legs were suddenly on fire and I had to shower to get the lotion off. I loved the bronzer and I wouldn't mind something with a MILDER tingle...any suggestions?

Dark Kickin' Ale from Emerald Bay is good. I didn't think the tingle in it was much at all. Smells decent too for a bronzer.

A person should not use water to get rid of the tingle...
Water sometimes enhances the tingle effect...

try Practical Magic Hot Spell. Nice bronzer with a slight tingle! This product is made by MOST

Water would not reactivate the heat in a tingle, but HOT water might. Practical Magic Hot Spell would be a better choice for you.

i really dig the dark kickin' ale it has a very mild tingle and a bronzer and i see really great results with it.

shauna, everyone is right-- DO NOT take a shower to stop the tingle. It will reactivate it and you'll be uncomfortable all over again.

I cannot believe that the employees started you out with Sinful for your first tingle. Please be sure to let them know how hot it was on you and that it was not an appropriate starter tingle.... maybe you can save others from being "shocked" like you were.

Spiked Butter and Melon Frappe are good mild tingles to start out with. A lot of people like Dark Kickin' Ale, but I've never used it. (not a fan of Emerald Bay lotions) and remember, if you don't dig the tingle, there are other products out there that can boost your tan without tingling. Come back and let us know how you make out.

for a mild tingle you can try swedish beauty zinger or tantalize. in john abate try formula a or s (i think a comes before s but check the package)

I had no idea that even cold water could make the tingle worse! I decided to get a lotion with tingle and get a moisturizer with bronzer to use after showers. I'm getting CT Total Submersion, Matahari Lustrous, SB Zinger and EB Cocoa Butter (not technically a moisturizer but it should do the trick). I won't be able to get these until later this week but I'll let everyone know how it works out.
