I like this after-tan moisturizer. It leaves my skin very soft and has a nice scent that I can't exactly put my finger on.
I currently am using Angel but I'm rotating the Fully Loaded in. It's a great lotion.

yea how thick is it and can u remotely describe the scent? (i dont know why i am asking cus i will probably never try unless by some grace of god my salon got some)

It is not as thick as Total Immersion or Angel.... it's more like Helioderm in terms of thickness.... as for scent, maybe it's like a light grape??? I have disgusting horrid allergies so I should not be trusted to smell anything for the next month.
It contains lots of great ingredients like aloe, hemp seed oil, grape seed extract, white birch extract (the "firming" ingredient), green tea extract, and copper. it also has a light cosmetic bronzer which I didn't even notice until I read the label....

I am crazy about this lotion. I've been thinking the scent is raspberry. My salon sells out the day it comes in. Do you think it is supposed to be shook up?
njchica
05-04-2003, 03:10 PM
I don't think so. I didn't shake mine when I started using it. I just picked up the bottle and tried to but the lotion is so thick that it is impossible to shake it around..... I think the white stripe is just for visual effect.

That's what I thought, too, but my boss said when he got to the white part that it was like Crisco. He didn't know if he got a bad bottle or a bad batch or what. I decided to shake mine up which was kind of hard but I like the consistency even better now. My co worker has been saying the Fiesta Sun products are supposed to be shaken up ever since we started carrying them. I should probably be on their website instead of here, I guess. I'm enjoying myself here too much.

SummersTan, you're right. I've just gotten to the white part and it is GROSS!! thick and doesn't rub in well. I tried shaking it up this morning before work but I was in such a hurry I didn't have time to do it properly. They should put some kind of instructions to "shake it" on the label, don't you think?

Their tanning lotions say to shake them up on the label, so I'm assuming the mositurizer is the same. I'll see what I can find out.

it doesn't say to shake it.... I checked last night

Thank You for your feedback on our new Fully Loaded, herbal skin moisturizer. The moisturizer is in a parfait style formula with a thicker white lotion in the middle. Because every tanners skin is different, many people enjoy using the bottle without shaking it and others that tan on the edge love the advantage and feel of a shaken formula. Either way you will get the same amazing moisturizing effects. We will be using your suggestions in placing this information on the bottle.
Thank You,
Brandon Cardinal

thank you Brandon for your information... I was so upset when I hit the "thick" part of the lotion because it didn't rub in well... I will try to shake it later and see how that works.

haha T.... I did get home today and shook up the bottle. After a few minutes it seemed to mix up.... personally, I would rather not have to shake shake shake senora. But the lotion is totally worth it.

That was cool of Brandon to give us this info. All of the customers who have shaken their lotion say they like it better. It doesn't look as pretty but it's really about how it works.I tried Radical Rain yesterday & although it smells good & has a light bronzer,it didn't work near as well.
njchica
05-07-2003, 09:30 PM
I DO NOT LIKE the Radical Rain. it is a very pale imitation of Soothing Sunhemp.,...

I think I may have to try this one, the cosmetic bronzer do you think this would come of onto my clothes ???
njchica
05-12-2003, 07:52 AM
I use it in the morning before work and I've never had a problem with stains on my clothes.... it's a very very light bronzer.

Sounds like a really great lotion. I usually moisturize in the morning before work and tan at night. Should I moisturize more often than that?
njchica
05-12-2003, 08:46 PM
you should moisturize after showering in the AM. Use a good indoor tanning lotion before tanning and then moisturize again before bedtime.... it also helps to exfoliate your body once a week with a gentle scrub to get rid of old dead cells...

And there are no lotion "boogers" with Fully Loaded! That definitely gets a thumbs up from me.

05-12-2003, 08:59 PM
PanAnna, what are lotion "boogers"?
PanAnna
05-12-2003, 09:11 PM
Oh GAWD, it's lotion crap that doesn't absorb into your skin and if you rub your skin it comes off in "boogers". I can't stand lotion that rubs or scrapes off.

my bottle is now almost empty... I need to get some more immediately!! what a great lotion.

Man! I need to try this!!! Is the scent light enough that it wouldn't interfere with a perfume? What would you compare the thickness to?
njchica
05-14-2003, 07:37 AM
it is not super-thick like Angel or Total Immersion.... it is thinner but "silky" and it leaves my skin very soft. the scent doesn't interfere with perfume or even my Bath and Body body splashes. I finished off my bottle this morning and I'm very sad.
Greta

This is the most awesome lotion I have ever used. you can actually see the effects right away, and my skin has never been this soft before with any other lotion.
njchica
05-20-2003, 03:31 PM
it works much better when it's all shaken up though.... the white stuff in the middle is too thick to use on its own
Greta

I agree, it only took hubby two minutes to completely mix it up, I tried for hours.....

I've just added Fully Loaded back into my rotation with all the warmer weather we've been having. Fully Loaded is definitely one of my favorite summer moisturizers!

FL is definetly one of my fav moisturizers. I love the smell. It reminds me of raspberries. Its lightweight so its perfect for summer. Just be sure to give it a good shake before you use it. I always have to have this one!

I'm glad it smells like raspberries to someone else.Alot of people think it smells like grapes.I think officially it is grape scented, also.I gave mine to my son who has just started tanning.I'm using Undercover Angel right now but I will be getting more Fully Loaded.Just need to use up some others first.

I got a really good deal, 12.99 for 2 17oz bottles of this so I am going to try it. I am using Angel right now, and I feel like the scent lingers too long and it's kinda greasy. I hope FL isn't as greasy feeling, because I am going to be using it for a while.

I've just started using FL again and I almost forgot how much I love this lotion. Don't get me wrong Cat's PJs is still my fav but, for me, it's too thick for summer. And, I like the scent of FL better.

I like the smell of fully loaded but when I put it on it feels almost like im putting on baking grease like criso or something. Am I the only one? Sometimes I have to reshake too cause it looks like there is cola in it?

Do you shake the bottle so all 3 layers are blended together? If you don't when you get to the white part in the middle, it's like Crisco and really hard to get out.
The "cola" you're seeing, is actually the caramel in the lotion.

Yay I got my Fully Loaded today. I ordered 2 but they sent me 3 because shipping took so long. I only need 4 more to catch up with Kay collection
So you're supposed to shake it up to blend the layers right? How in the world do you do it when the bottle is full???

I took about a 1/2 cup of the lotion out and put in a sandwich bagie. Then I shook it up real good, cut a hole in the corner of the baggie and squeesed the stuff I removed back in. It is a piece of cake.
