I've been trying to maintain the tan by going once a week now as recommended, but my tan seems to fade still. I'm still doing all the moisturising etc., but it doesn't seem to be maintaining as well, I've still paled a bit I think. Should I be going twice a week now... or something??? Any advice?

Have you asked your salon for a recommendation? Personally, I go 2 times a week to maintain my tan and that works for me. You could always try it and see if it works for ya.

I maintain by going twice a week for 20 minutes in the base beds.... If I were going to go once a week, I'd have to upgrade to a stronger bed to maintain my color.

Yeah, I think it'd depend on what type of bed your using also. In a base bed, probably 2 would be a definite to maintain, but in an upgrade bed, you should be able to go 1x to maintain, or 2 if ya think ya want to. I could be wrong though...

I've been maintaining by going 3 times a week on the base bed. What bed have you been using?

I have to figure out a schedule to maintain my tan. I have not gone since the end of Oct 31st and I miss it already

Well my salon just have stand-up booths that go up to 12 minutes. My salon says to maintain by going for 12 minutes once a week, but I think I've faded a bit throughout the several weeks now.

Hm... I wonder what I'm doing wrong... I drink tonnes of water and I moisturise quite a lot. I must be missing out something...

I go maybe 2 times a week possibley 3 if I have time. I go in the base bed 20 mins and I switch off my lotions I use. That has seemed to help out ALOT.

What type of moisturizer are you using? And are you using tanning lotion each time you tan?

I used up my total immersion now, then fully loaded. I'm trying to find a thick lotion now, posted request in skin care!

I would up it to 2X a week.
Whats kind of weird though - a lot of people reccomend ATLEAST once a week in a base bed to maintain a tan - but I'm keeping a base by going once a MONTH in a base bed

I would reccomend trying some different beds and lotions. Rotation seems to work well for some.

We have a couple extrememly good moisturizers, the one I would reccomend is our Hoss' Hemp Moisturizer for Tanners, which contains extremly good moisturization along with the tanning accelerators to keep your melanin up.

Also step up your lotions, try tingle products etc.

I have been going maybe 1 or 2 times a week since summer ended. I started to lose my color but I had stoped using bronzers for like a month since I ran out and was only using SHC and Green Tea. I try to use one of my light bronzers 1 time a week and I seem to be keeping my color great. I also moisturize like 2 times a day that seems to help as well.

That's true, I have stopped using a bronzer for a while too. I kinda want it again!

I was just thinking, is Dark Sexy Tan much different to Sexy tan?? As in the colour noticieably darker than sexy tan? 'Cos I was thinking of buying some Dark since they're going cheap at the mo.

Well, I thought I'd rebuild my tan up for every other day again, and well, I managed to building up to 12 mins first time in my last session, and all of a sudden I got explosion of colour... probably darker than I expected. What's going on?!

I also feel like I'm fading a little bit more than I'd like to this winter, so I'm going to go to a VHR bed 1x a week and a base bed 1x a week to maybe boost up my color to where I want it at, and then maybe just drop back to 1x a week in a VHR to maintain... though I'm sure my Tanorexia will kick in then

I'm definately fading fast just going 1 x a week for the past 2 weeks is not working for me I'm really going to have to try and squeeze in a couple of sessions before I lose all my color!

I'm fading also. My salon had a month where you could use the upgrades for donating a can of food. Now I'm back to the base beds and I'm fading
