How far do lotions go?

Is there a point where using the same lotion just won't make you anymore tan?

while we all love lotions, they are not the controlling factor in how dark your tan can get. Your genetics control this. Everyone has their own personal level of "tan-ness" and once you have maxxed out, you will not get any darker.

that being said, yes there are some lotions that are great for building a base tan but which might not help a person trying to push past a tanning plateau. Some people like to use tingle lotions when they are trying to get darker, others prefer a hydrating lotion with loads of vitamins and other ingredients designed to boost color. most people begin with a lower-priced base-building lotion and then buy more advanced products as their tan progresses.

using upgrade beds can also help you darken your tan... even more so than just switching lotions.

I like to switch up my lotions. I will use a bronzer one day and then just an accelorator with no bronzer another.
