It is pretty much just the top part of a bed. It is on a stand and you lay under it. You would have to turn over and probably on your sides too. Doesn't seem like it would have very good coverage.

I have never heard of those. Are they really popular?

I thought they were mostly used as home models??
they are a home tanning bed and you have to flip around a couple of times to get an even tan. they are not bad for a starter bed but i would wait and save more $ and get a better unit.

I have a friend that had one of these and she said it was a piece of crap, to much truning and twisting to get the tan you want!i would never get one of these type of beds

yes, I've seen them on the web and for the price of a canopy with 12 lamps you can buy a 24 lamp bed for $200-300 more.

I would never buy one...but my best friend who refuses to go to a salon (which sucks because I get a free week of unlimited tanning if I sign him up) has bought one...it should arrive in the next week or so...so I think I will be visiting him on Sundays (my salon is closed that day!)...just to try it out once or twice..or every single Sunday!

I have a Sunquest 2000s canopy. I have had it for approx 7 weeks now. I am getting decent color considering how PALE I am naturally. It does take longer because you have to flip over but to me it is worth it because I have 2 small children at home and don't always have time for going to a salon. Also, I can tan at any hour of the day in the privacy of my own home. I just store it against the wall in my bedroom then when I use it I lay a towel on my bed and roll it over and pull it down over top of me. I just use the same lotions you would use in a tanning bed. I got mine financed and I only pay $37.50 per month. Maybe somewhere down the line if we move and have more space I will consider getting an actual bed. But right now I just dont ahve the room for one and this was the best option for space and price!
