If you could get the ears of the lotion companies, what kinds of products would you like to see them release next time around?

well i know u will agree Jill... a cal tan butter moisturizer, those lotions are a fave of mine(too bad my salon stopped carrying them)

--and I would really like to see an after-tan moisturizer that contains DHA... thick, moisturizing, nice scent, and a bronzer in it!!!

Hmmm...definitely an ULTRA moisturizing lotion with a nice,light, clean scent. Something that wouldn't conflict with perfume or cologne. Total Immersion is very close to this, but I want something new. LOL Also, I think it would be cool if a lotion company came out with a makeup line specifically for tanned skin. It is hard to find good powders and bases that match just right. That is all I can think of now. I will probably come up with some more stuff later.

oooooooo yea that would be great the make up line. and i will KILL for a bronzing poweder without mica in it. i have oily skin and i am paranoid about shiny's when i am out and this mica in suddenly sun gives me serious issues cus i don't know if my skin is shiny or it's just the powder so i then take out my translucent powder and try to fix the problem and i seem to be doing this veeeeeeery often (i know my face can get oily but it isn't THAT oily)[ This Message was edited by: Anya1976 on 2003-05-04 23:34 ]

I still want to see a new ULTRA thick moisturizing Gele' from California Tan...
I want it to have the scent of John Frieda's beachblonde Ocean Waves...
That coconuty summer reminiscent(sp) scent...
And it has to be THICk, like bain de solie orange gele'

Nah...I really meant "perseverate". One of my docs dictates it all the time. At one time it wasn't considered a real word but apparently now it is. I, like you, thought it was wrong.

yes....makeup for tanners would be awesome! I totally agree with Anya on the bronzer without mica. If I wanted to look like I smeared glitter all over my face, I would have bought glitter - not bronzer!

chica, I see you ask for a Green Tea moisturizer... I do use the Green & Black Teas as a daily moisturizer on occasion. I think they are wonderful to use daily.

I also agree with Melty on the Coconut scent. I have tanners that request that scent... Gives them the feeling of being on the beach I guess.

the only lotion i can think of right now that has the "summer" kind of smell is beach bum rum that to me smelled like lotion my grandma used at the beach for our summer vacations

As for the makeup, has anyone tried MAC? They have a bronzing powder foundation that doesn't sparkle.

A lotion that we could use with full SPF protection for those days that we want to relax in the tanning bed, but don't want to add any color. I buy packages of time, generally months, so I can go every day if I want to. But sometimes, although my skin might need a break, I still love to lie there and relax!

yeah Melty's coconut-scented gelee would ROCK! But how about lotions w/o the smell? I know I like SB lotions, but some of them reek & others are way to perfumey for me. I'm allergic to allot of perfumes, and some time they just smell fake. I would like all natural smells from SB & DS. (maybe that's why I seem to prefer JA)

There already is an after tan moisturizer with DHA. Maybe you can try it and see if it's any good. I know of one site that sells it, if you'd like to know.

I don't know what I would ask for lotion companies to make next year. I love Cool Water cologne, so maybe a lightly scented Cool Water type lotion that is unisex.

I have a Cool Water scented lotion.... it's a private-labeled lotion for a salon. It smells awesome and works super-well.

I've seen that a lotion company makes a Cool Water scented lotion (maybe Formulated Solutions??). I'm going to try it sometime. But, as far as the private label goes, I do not have any "elite" salons around here or anyone supplying me with "special lotion" so I have to get what I can get a hold of (and you probably know where I have to shop for a variety of lotions and it isn't MY salon).

actually, that's the one I'm talking about. It's a Formulated Solutions private label of that lotion.

I wish so so bad that JA would add to his Cote line, a Strawberry Banana lotion, that is stronger than mango flambe, it would be amazing, also a kiwi one that was cooling would be awesome, oh YUM!!!

A face self-tanner that's also a nice moisturizer- not greasy, not a spray, unscented, and without aha. A hot hot tingle with no bronzer in a squeeze-tube that smells like sandalwood, jasmine, and peach. Bring back matahari mesmerize. I'm still undecided on bronzers, but a plateau-blaster Theory would be great! Also triple action Biofusion. I guess there should be a limit to all this craziness, but who knows? It's fun to try!

as for Goddess, I'm pretty sure it is tingle and bronzer...... I was under the impression that it was Worship plus tingle.

I remember when Body Drench was the "thing",I personally think they should make more up-to-date products you know meet the demands of todays tanners....Dont take me the wrong way 'cuz I love their products! They just seem to be outdated.IMO

I wish SB would make something similar to Zinger but with a better smell. Something with that level of tingle plus a bronzer would be awesome!

Yeah, I just found BD this year, and I love the UV Amp lotion, Awesome stuff and I've also tried the Tan FX too, and Loved it as well. I've got the Sweet XTC, but I won't use it since it's got DHA in it but oh well, I've got the others.
Yeah, I'd love to see some Cooling and Tingles from their line too.

it is thin watery crap, IMO.... I think that drug store stuff--Banana Boat, Hawaiian Tropic, Ocean Potion, etc. is better than Body Drench. That should give you an idea of how I feel about it.

something you can use, and go out and continue with your day, not smelling like tanning lotion, or feminine, flowery, ect.
