And I mean deleted .. like it never existed? I may be interested in a MySpace account for a brief period .. but not "forever and ever amen". I know myself and I know I really wouldn't use it. Thank you in advance for any/all input.

They can be, but why would you want one for only a short period? Are you just going to lurk? What's the purpose?

I would be using the MySpace account to communicate with an acquaintance who is having trouble with their E-Mail account. I spend enough time fooling with I Am Tan so I don't need another "message board" to waste even more time.

Well, MySpace isn't really a message board, its more of a way to find your friends and be able to communicate more easily. But yes, you can delete your account once their email is back up and running.

You can permanently delete it but it may stay on google's cache. You should just create an account to communicate but not specify who you are so that people won't be able to lurk your profile.

OR you may just want to communicate VIA IM's and email
