We had our first dance to "U got it bad" by Usher. hehehe!! It was "our song". We dated since we were 18 and married at 21 so that kinda explains the maturity level we had!!!

I think when we renew our vows in 6 years (woo hoo) I'll pick a Brian McKnight song.....sooooooooooooo romantic.

It's in between two songs.

"It's Your Love" and "My Best Friend" both by Tim McGraw (BB's fav.)

Which ever one we don't use as our first song, the other BB is going to sing to me at the reception. That was his idea, and I love it b/c he has such a great voice.

My husbad and I had 2 songs. His was Al Green's "Let's Stay Together", and mine was "May This Be Love (Waterfall)" by JIMI HENDRIX!!!! JIMI!!!!!!! Whooo Hoooo!

Anyway...it was cool. We played his during the time when the brides maids walked the ilse and played mine during our dance.

We still listen to those songs and just melt. We are cheesy love birds. We are still on our honeymoon after 8 years...LOL

Friends in Low Places has always been our "official" song - it was the first song that we danced to on our first date, and during the song, my ex boyfriend (of a week!) walked in. Words were just too appropriate...it became this huge joke between us.

I had two friends that got married this summer. One couple danced to "It's Your Love" and the other couple danced to "I Need You".. both by Tim and Faith. I was kinda sad that they used It's Your Love. I wanted that to be mine and Kevin's cuz it fit how we started dating. The line that says "All of this happened by taking your hand" is so true for us. Oh well... I think "Lost in This Moment" by Big and Rich is really cute too!
