How do you decide which lotion to use?

Do you buy only 1 at a time and use it until it's empty and then buy another?

Do you have several and switch every week, every other session, every session? How do you choose?

I pretty much grab whichever lotion catches my eye on my way out the door. I've been trying to finish up the 1/2 full bottles... that being said, I do try to switch between browning and bronzing with every session. I throw in a tingle every now and again but not often as I'm not a big fan of tingle.

I rotate!Ü I have two lotions in my gym bag and do switch one to the other each session. I dont use hot tingles or bronzers....Currently whats in my bag is Drama Queen and Blaque~Radically Cool DTL. Once I find a lotion or two I like I usually stick with them for the season, though I do try samples from time to time too and am dying to try the Green Tea as I have heard tons of good things about it!

I pretty much just use whatever I feel like using that day. And I usually take 2 with me just in case I change my mind when I get to the salon. LOL

I rotate! One session regular lotion(X Power); next day I use my tingle/bronzer (Cherry Bon Bon).

I rotate between several different lotions. It also depends on the weather-if its hot there is no way I'm using a tingle. If I plan on going swimming I don't use bronzers. I use to just buy one lotion and then use it until it was gone, but not anymore.

i rotate right now i have 6 lotions in my bag.. but sometimes i stick with one for a few sessions if i dont want to use a bronzer or tingle then i add the tingle or bronzer and get back to rotating

I only use samples. I love to try different lotions. I will use anything(tingle,bronzer,j ust accelerator). I base my decision on what I'm doing that day or night. I have a few all time favorite lotions but usually am using something new. Right now I'm trying to use up the bottles I bought last summer of some stuff I really liked that went on clearance when the last salon owner was going out of business. I hear lotions have a shelf life at about a year so I figure I need to use them up.

i rotate plain lotion and tingles. i don't use many cooling and no bronzer. i use tingle once a week.

I usually rotate between browning, bronzing, and tingle. Recently, I've only been using browning and tingles. Once I hit my plateau again, I'll throw in a bronzer. I just use whichever lotion appeals to me that day.

Well, when UPS arrives, I will have 4 lotions, 2 types of Power Drops, and one good moisturizer. I like to try different stuff, and I've heard that rotating is good.

It allll depends on what kinda mood I'm in, or if I feel like trying something new. It getse boring if you use the exact same lotion every time you tan.

I have 3 lotions in my bag. I usually rotate between an accelerator and a tingle/bronzer. Sometimes I use two different lotions on the same day, like Frosted Hemp on the areas that are sensitive to tingle, and Siren on the not so sensitive areas.

So my question is, being new to tanning, is there a real benefit to rotating? Or just personal preferance? Thanks!

I personally find that switching my lotions around helps with boosting my color. I'll use accelerators and then every 3rd or 4th session I'll use a tingle.

I usually rotate with a tingle and a bronzer. Since I only have 3 bottles of lotion the decision isn't very difficult Also, if I know I am going somewhere important afterwards, I usually won't use a tingle.. that way I won't look like a lobster

I like to rotate but I have only 2, so I just use the one with the tingle about once a week.

I take all five of my lotions to the salon with me in a bag. I don't usually decide what to use until time to put it on. I use a tingle once every 3-4 times.

Seeing as how I work at a tanning salon, I try free samples all the time and own about 4 bottles of lotion... maybe its because I'm indecisive so I guess the answer is yes, I rotate and every session...
