I think Saving Faces is Great. It is very moisturizing and hypoallergenic. I has no fragrances added so it is very gentle on my face!

Well that's what I use as my facial moisturizer!
Anya1976
05-17-2003, 05:05 PM
well that's fine i am looking for something i can use when i am not tanning cus i can't always afford to use my lotion as a moisturizer. i'd rather have something separate, like philosophy's hope in a jar or something.

Try Clinique's Moisture Surge Extra, its pricey but feels so goood. I have acne prone skin and the Clinique line has been GREAT for my skin, I use numerous products for my face with them..

Anya, I second the recommendation for Moisture Surge Extra by Clinique. It is an excellent facial "gel" that is marketed as "thirsty skin relief." I love it.... I am going to the mall tomorrow to get this and the Coconut Lime Verbena stuff from Bath and Body...

I have ultra sensitive skin, and am allergic to everything and anything.... Because of this i have to be really careful about what i use. I have found that for my skin type Eucerin works really well, and also when my skin is ultra, ultra dry because of eczema i use 'bag balm' in the little green tin. It smells kind of eucalyptusy and is pretty heavy duty, but i love it. It's medicated, though, so definately isnt for everyone.

i have eczema as well (i always shows up in my eyebrows and right between my brows *yea it looks really pretty too* lol) thank goodness tanning helps with it. all great ideas... i'll have to check out the clinique i'll get a sample of it. and check out the eucerin as well

I use BareVitamins Skin Rev-er Uppper. It is a miracle!! My skin is smoother and brighter than it has ever been. Now I must warn u, it's $21 a bottle for 2.3 oz but it will last for quite some time and is worth every penny. You can get it here: http://www.qvc.com/asp/frameset.asp?nest=%2Fasp% 2FIsItemNumberRedirect.as p&search=SQ&frames=y&referrer=QVC&txtDesc=bare+vitamins
Hope this helps

My little girl used to get eczema so bad on her eyelids and by her mouth. We had her on prescription steroid creams for a while, but that was scary since steroidal creams will thin the skin and can cause discoloration. Not to mention that they only worked like half the time.
Finally, a prescription cream came out that does not have steroids and has been a miracle cream! It has totally gotten rid of Molly's eczema, and if it begins to even look like it might come back, she puts the cream on for a week or so. It's called Protopic.

I like the original oil of olay Oil Free Hydrating Fluid. it's a really light, non-greasy & doesn't leave a film behind. I mostly break out when my skin can't 'breath'. now I really want to try the Moisture Surge Extra by Clinique!

I have used the clinique products for years. The MSE is good for dry skin, for everyday I use the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion.Just a little goes a long way. Watch the newspaper, Clinque always has bonus week at different department stores and when you by something they have all kinds of samples and full size things they give with purchase. Thats how I got samples of MSE and tried it.

Anya, have you tried any of the Biore products. I really like them. I am 33 and still have combination skin but still want to use a light moist. under my makeup so I use one of theirs. I also love the biore pore strips. Have you ever used them?

yes i have used their products i used their face wash for quite awhile (i get bored with products easily) i used to use their moisturizer but now that it is pretty much the hair minimizing stuff i don't want to use that and put it on my eyebrows (cus they get really dry) and yea i have used the pore strips i still have a few of those left. i havent seen the original formula moisturzer in ages or i would have bought it cus i LOVE it

I use the biore pore strips. The self heating mask gave me a rash, though. I've not seen the original formula moisturizer around here in a long time, either.

I recently tried the Beyond Belief line from Sally's and it was greasy and gross. Now I use Dove Day Lotion with SPF 15. It's light enough to use under makeup and hasn't caused any zits so far. I also used the rice moisturizer from BBW and it turned out to be a little too thick for me (unless my face is having a REALLY dry day).
