does your salon pamper you with free samples, free sessions, free anything?

I tan at a place that gives us a free lotion sample on our birthday and that's it... Yet I see that others ask for samples regularly? What goes on at your salon? Are you spoiled or are you wishing you were spoiled?

My salon provides a bathroom to remove your makeup if you have it on, speakers in every room, googles, and a piece of candy on the bed every time you go in. The also have coupons for a free sample once a month.

I think they ought to let you have the run of the place NJC knowing the amount of moola you spend with them on lotions, etc. You should get "frequent tanner miles".

Okay...its morning...and Im ready to retype my post...

The SunGarden is great...

We have chairs in every room, I don't know why...
We have little tables to place our lotion and cell phones...
We have Degree Spray Deodorant in each room...
We have a box of tissues in each room...
We have Candy out on the front desk every day...
We have Wink-Ease and suntoos on the front desk every day...
We have a bathroom to 'freshen up' after our tanning...
We have a nice stereo system throughout the salon...
We have great BRAND NEW equipment...

I also forgot to mention that my salon does what is called 'frequent tanning points'. As of right now I have 4 points which equals 3 weeks of free unlimited tanning coming to me beginning in Nov. I would imagine they do it that month cause it slows down a little bit.

my salon has wet wipes for taking off make up or wiping hands after applying bronzers, every room has tan-toos antiperspirant a table and a chair. it's always clean the rooms have headphone holes in each room (4 different ones with different radio stations) to listen to while tanning.

My salon has 16 rooms...good sized rooms too..... in the rooms they provide wet ones.....We have chairs and tables in each room......with extra towels on a shelf behind the door..... aside from the one they put on the bed with the sign indicating the bed has been cleaned and a piece of candy there as well as another on the table...each room has a full sized mirror too.......and there are pics on the walls.....swedish beauty men and women...........music control.....hair spray/gels...spray deodorant.....kleenex.... ..and a dimmer switch for the overhead lighting which hasnt ever made any sense to me since the rooms are opened up above and the floresent lights are always on........there are also those neat lil' aromatherapy air freshener thingies in the corners of each room.......
......winkease in a dish on the tables in the rooms along with tan-to's...always the playboy bunny......

The owner also has a water cooler in the front as well as coffee .......and ALWAYS has godiva truffles and she has candles lit in the front too......oh yeah...there are four bathrooms there too.......one with a shower in it......and free pens with the salon logo....and the chicks who work there always vacuum the rooms out after each tanner leaves .....they print out your scheduled appts on a card for you to take when you come in on a Monday .......HEY........wow.... ......I go to a pretty cool cushy kinda salon!! I wouldnt change anything.......

I'm with you! I think it's time for me to find another place to Tan. The place I go to, charges a FORTUNE to tan.. Then they don't provide anything but 1 paper towel, and a little cone of water. If you want music, you have to pay $4 for head phones, otherwise you lay there in silence. They have pretty good beds, but no tables, no deodorant, no nothing. As far as free samples and candy, hahaha! The lotions are way over priced (I mean, if you can afford $80 for a small bottle of lotion, then I think you can afford a tanning bed for your house), and the cost to tan is SO high! After reading all your posts, I think I'm going to call around and find something better! Thanks for all this information.. It really has helped me to understand, maybe I can save some money now.

Geez, I am obviously missing alot ! My salon offers a radio to listen to. that's all. There;s a roll of paper towels, and a bottle of disinfectant. You have to clean the bed yourself. And that's the best place around here to go. Pathetic huh ?

In my salon, in every room there is a towel, goggles, a chair, a radio and a mirror. and on the main desk they have a bottle of Hempz herbal moisturizer that you can use if you want to. But no free samples or anything like that.

My salon has cd/boomboxes in every room so you can listen to what you want, they clean the bed for you, free tan-toos, a chair, table, a couple of the rooms actually have air conditioners in the walls, so the rooms don't get too hot. And a great bathroom!

I am a newbie and just started tanning last night and signed up for 12 visits...and after I came out I was told that since I was new there and I only went in 10 minutes, that my first session was free and my 12 sessions would start on my next visit...which will be tomorrow!

I've only gone tanning once and I might go today at a different place though, but when I went the other day in the room there is a chair to set your stuff on and on the bed there is a pair of goggles and a towel and my friend who snooped around a little more than I did said there was spray deodorant. I think there might have been a little basket with tantoos but I can't remember very well so I dunno. It's kinda basic and there are also radios in the beds but sometimes they don't work. Just depends which one ya get.

At the salon I go to each room has: a towel, boombox radio, goggles, deodorant, disinfectant spray bottle and last but not least, a stoll to put you stuff on..woohoo As for the tantoo's, their at the front desk. The only time you can get a free tan at my salon is if you refer someone their. As for samples and lotions you have got to be kidding me, they sell them. But I can say the staff are great most are college students.

now I feel deprived! the only freebie I've ever gotten was my first tan free (for 5 min. limit on the free tan!) and a free birthday tan (7 min. limit) they do have candy if you want , towels, chair & mirror, but no goggles, radio, deodorant, ect...

We have a candy bowl at the counter, towels, stickers, a fully stocked vanity table, and a clean restroom. Each room has two speakers and volume control but we pick the music up front. We give lotion samples if someone is serious about lotion shopping or if someone swears by NOT using any. And WE clean the beds...

iam so freaking JEALOUS hello. all i have is candy, cd/radio,chair,table,tantoos ,deodarant,lots of ac,2bathrooms,and1 free tan plus discounts of a monthly special. thats it. i want the godiva and as much freakin money i spend there i want free samples. ANY ONE FROM little rock ark? have this? respond now please.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if i spend about 150 a month on lotions, moisturizors and scrubs then i want that to and i pay about 10.00 for samples on like seduction and junk to try. ugh that really sucks plus i pay in advanced for 3 months to.

My salon doesn't give out freebies, but they are just really nice to deal with. Their rooms have chairs, a sink, baby wipes, a mirror. They also leave candies and the eye protection on the bed.

Now I'm really not liking my salon! They do provide a towel, tantoos, eyewear, but that's about it. Some of the rooms have a chair. None of them have a wastebasket, that always bugs me. Sometimes there is a candy dish on the counter, sometimes not. I want a salon like CarolinaSizzle has!

Well I love my salon owner because she likes to spoil me but she knows I spend money at her salon. Today I go in and we just started talking and I mentioned about two of the facials in the diva haven;t been working. She said they had new starters on order. Which was fine answer for me, but then she goes on to say well I am going add 10 extra days onto your package. This is the second time she has done this. Well I also asked to be upgraded to the diva and I got out my money and she wouldn;t take it. She upgraded me for free. Also she has given me Xpower samples as well.

My salons provides a towel, goggles, and a little candy each time you tan. There are also built in speakers in the beds and a head unit in each bed that is easily accesible when laying down. Other than that...nothing else:(

Wow. I want chocolates! I tan where I exercise so it's only $34 for 200 minutes (cheap!) but that's it for perks. There are 2 chairs in the room, tantoos and a boombox radio with speakers. You get your eye wear at the desk when you check in. No towel, no godiva, no deodorant, no mirror, nothing else. But hey --- it IS cheap and convenient.

My salon has adjustable fans and radios in the rooms, paper towels (or towels at the other one I sometimes go to for upgrades), goggles to wear, free tantoos, bench in the room, and if you're a member purchases of lotions, moisturizers, or other stuff go 50% toward upgrade credits (so I have a bunch of free upgrades for awhile with the way I buy lotions lol)

My salon is 40$ per month unlimited tanning (12min per 24hours). Free music choice in each bed, towel, facial mirror, a hard candy and they clean each unit after each use. If I buy a sample packet, they will take the price off if I buy a full size bottle. Very friendly helpful staff.

Everytime I refer a friend, I get a free session in any leverl bed or a free mystic. For my birthday, I get the same postcard. So right now I have 2 free sessions or 2 free mystics.
