PLEASE ADVISE NEWBIE

Hi,

I have just hired out a sunbed for 2 months and I havent a clue how long I should be staying on it, nor, how often. I dont know much about the sunbed other than its a 20 tube double canopy.

I found out i am a 3A.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Since you don't know much about, it's better to be cautious than burned. I would reccomend that you start out at 5 minutes and then slowly work your way up to 20. Never go more than 2 more minutes than you did the last time, because that can cause you to get burned.

you should actually stay at a time for more than a few sessions. when you are no longer seeing color from that time THEN increase your time (starry is right no more than 2 mins) and NEVER EVER let yourself burn

Well as I picture you have fair skin. Why dont you like use a Mystic Tan or Sun Spritz just to get started so you would be able to start with a higher amount of time with out burning. Just a suggetion and they usually cost $20-$25 a session they would really help.

Mystic or other spray on tan provide you NO protection from UV rays. You need to start at a very minimal amount of time and work up slowly. There should be an exposure schedule sticker on the bed to follow. Sessions should NEVER be less than 24 hrs apart and my recomendation is every other day.
