Dark Blotches on back??

I've only tanned twice and I notice I have dark sections on my back, kinda looks like some parts of my back got color and others didnt. Will this even out when I tan again? Am I doing something wrong? Is this a pressure point thing? I also notice my armpits are all white. Can anyone advise me on both?

it might be birth marks you never knew you had. (it happened to me too)

I got the same thing only mine is where I once had a really bad bruise due a nasty fall in a rocky creek area. I'm hoping they go away soon, they keep getting darker than the rest of me... I guess its my constant reminder to not step on wet moss. LOL!

Snow, Have you just started tanning?? Have you noticed these before?? It could be a Pigment loss in those areas of your skin. I've got a Patch of Lighter spots on top of my left thigh, because of loss of pigment in that area. I've had it for forever, and It's always been that way, since I was little. Just a thought, Good Luck

I just started tanning, only gone twice. These marks looks more like streaks rather than "spots". It looks like those areas were exposed more than the whiter sections. I just hope they even out.

my friend gets white streaks on her back when she goes tanning because the bed hits her in just the right spot. i dont quite know why but its something to do with the acrylic and how the bulbs are layed in there.
