At my last MagicTan session, the lady told me to try wet wipes instead of the barrier cream (which I put on my fingernails and toenails just in case). The wetwipes worked great!! Right when I got out of the booth I used them to wipe off my hands and feet (cuticles and all). I tried it at home also after using a sunless tanning cream -- same great result. I'm curious if anyone else has tried this. She also told me that fingernail polish works great as a barrier as well. One last tip she gave me was to use the excess tanner on my shower cap to fill in areas of my feet that I want to be tan. MagicTan was much more helpful that Mystic!

Spike, finally someone who will speak up and agrees with me on the MagicTan. I think this machine is the absolute best machine they have come out with yet!!! And yes, we too have used the wet wipes and have had awesome results. I love this machine it's the most perfect thing since sliced bread!!!! I just received an e-mail from a tanner at my salon saying she loved my beds so much that she never entertained the thought of the sunless booth. However, after not being able to tan for over a week and a havinga wedding to be at Sunday ... she thought what the heck. She e-mailed me and went on and on and on about the booth ... I am so exstatic to see more and more people are using the booth and loving it. I and others think it is a much darker, smoother and natural looking tan than all the others. I am so glad I bought this machine ... it has already paid for itself with all the tanners we have loving it! Thanks spike for finally being one of many to speak up aboout this fantastic machine ... life is good!! P.S. I'm not sure about the excess solution off your shower cap though...must be something they thought of.

I also own a Magic Tan Booth. I have used all the other booths out there and I am convinced that this is the best one out there. The color I got didn't vary much from one booth to another but the coverage this booth provides is more uniform because it has 40 fixed spray nozles and no moving parts. I also like the way the booth looks, it's very cool. I have gotten great customer feedback.

Has anyone used the Sun Spritz?

Sorry, with all the research I've done on the booths I can answer this one ... JUNK! It's the Hollywood Tan Family, the one that's having mega problems right now. Beware, they have about 4 or 5 knock-offs and are trying to sell them at a discounted price.

I went 50 miles to try the Sun Spritz. I didn't know it was part of the Hollwood Tan family. I liked the fact it is all stainless steel. I will mark it off my list. Thanks.......

I have found that using baby lotion on my hands and feet right after getting out of the mystic works great too. Baby wipes are also a great thing to try. Thanks for sharing!
