HAHA, no, nothing nasty , but I have a problem getting the top of my shoulders tan. Anyone have a technique for this? The tanning beds my salon uses are Sun Ergoline beds and they have no lamps for the shoulders. It's not bad, but noticable under certain lights.

i usually flip over with my hands on my head and it helps tan my shoulders

It's weird because I rotate sessions, laying one on my back, then the next on my stomach, and it's STILL there. I thought about just going in and setting in the bed with my back to the lid and see if that would work...

it's worth a shot.... i guess sitting on the edge (to get rid of butt lines) and putting the top down a bit for a few mins each session might help

if you will sorta raise your shoulders up, like when you are rising out of bed, and sorta position them close the canopy where the light directly hits them.

haha, yeah, but I won't have to worry about but lines because I tan in my boxers. Bad experience with butt burn once...OUCH. The bed should be able to support weight in one spot right? I HATE climbing in beds sometimes because I'm afraid the acrylic is going to give, HAHA.

When in the standup, I do side bends. This works well. And doubles as a stretching exercise.

I have yet to try a booth bed, need to do that...maybe that's what I'll do.

You might want to try a booth to even you tan out from time to time.

SLPNGQT, yes the sun will help even out those spots that are hard to get in the beds.

the best thing to do is use the standup for a few sessions....

If everything else fails, just use a dark bronzer to even out your tan or even a sunless product!

If you are afraid of getting the bronzer even try to use a light one to start out with and get some practice!
I remember that I was soooo afraid of bronzers, but now I love them.

For some reason i have a problem getting my legs darker. Is there any certain kind of lotion or way i should lay in the tanning bed to get them darker?

Well most of us do have a "real" tan. But sometimes we like a bronzer to deepen our existing color!

I feel the same way about self tanners.... Im paying to get a real, long lasting tan, so why would i want to fake it at all? If the self tanner or bronzer lasted a little longer than a few days that would be one thing, but they dont.... I guess i like knowing that the color i have going is all mine, and not fake.

I have tried different positions in a bed but a stand up seems to be the only thing that really works.
