asked them if they had HP beds. They said "I don't know what you mean, they're just tanning beds." I hung up...

If they don't know what a HP unit is, it's probably better that you did hang up.

I agree. I definately wouldn't tan there. They are obviously not up-to-date with the tanning world.

Yea, if they don't know what type of tanning beds they have you shouldn't tan there.

Definitely, try another salon who can answer your questions fully. If they don't know what Beds they've got, I'd be nervous myself!!

Hence the reason I hung up. I can't believe they don't know what they have. I don't own a salon and I would be able to tell them what they have. That's sad. Not only that, but if they don't know their industry, how well do you think they maintain the beds they do have? Pleeeeeeeeeez............ ...

I find that a lot of the smaller places really don't know anything about the beds or tanning in general. I did find a little place that recently opened in my area and I was very excited about the amount of information the girl gave me about the equipment and the lotions...she was very well informed which is a first up here.

I think a lot of it is ambition, in general. The ones who take the time and effort to learn about what they are selling and providing as a service, well, they can be great little salons! And, they generally have to expand because word of mouth is great advertisement! The ones who don't take the time become stagnant. I'm glad you found a place that you can trust.

some places don't even know what kind of bulbs their beds have.... HELLO... DON'T THEY ORDER THEM?!?!??!!?
