Was just wondering if anyone had any tips on their favorite sunless tanner? the best ways to prevent streaking?

I like banana bost soft medium blend creme since it's works remarkably well for a under $6 lotion. When you put it on, apply it in a circular direction to keep from streaking. Either wash the palms of your hands right after applying the lotion or wear gloves (which I prefer). When you apply the lotion to the tops of your hands, use a cosmetic wedge or a cotton ball. Don't take a shower for at least 4 hours. Be prepared to be smelly and gross feeling until you have taken a shower. Go to sunless.com for more info.

Thanks StarryEyes, I am using the Deep Dark blend in Banana Boat right now and it does do a pretty good job, I was in Florida and found it in the spray in both shades for $1 and it works great. I will agree with ya though, pretty smelly as most of them are. Have you ever used the vitaskin kind they have out? Doesn't smell near as strong.

sunless.com has a lot of great tips for application and products.....just remember when choosing a product that everyone's skin is different and what may be the perfect color for one person may not be right for you. It's alot of trial and error. Never do 2 coats at once you have to give it 12 hours to fully develop before you truly see what the results are. I know most people like Savage Bronze or Au Courant because they don't seem to turn orange on anyone.

defintely check out www.sunless.com . if your a skin type 1 or 2, I would reccomend light sunless tanners such as Copptertone Effortless Color in Lt/Med.. and Banana Boat Soft Medium Blend.

Where can I find Au Courant and Savage Bronze? And about how much do they go for?

the only place i know to find Au Courant is www.aucourant.com or www.tanforless.com - they are both the same price on both websites,b ut i would order from censored because they ship faster. You could find savage bronze at your local Sally Beauty Supply store or www.tanforless.com. Savage Bronze runs for about $9 while Au Courant runs for about $25. Try a bottle of the Au Courant Mousse, you will be very impressed. I know it sounds expensive, but you dont want your first sunless tan to be a disaster. Try Au Courant and you wont turn orange. Also, remember not to tan your palms of your hands or finger nails

I usually wear latex gloves while applying my sunless tanner and it seems to work fairly well. Thanks for the info.

Exfoliate, Exfoliate, Exfoliate in soft circular motions, no scrubbing. This is beneficial for UV-free as well as UV tanning.
