Are you pleased with the salon you tan at? If another newer one opened up... let's say at an equal distance from your house... would you switch? Would you try it?

I am very happy, but of course I would check out another one!

i am very happy with my salon. i might check out the other salon but i would stay where i am at (i may buy lotions from the other place if they carry stuff i want to use, since my salon doesn't special order and only carries some cal tan, some matahari, some EB, some SB, and some AG)

I'm really happy with mine; I've been with them three years. I shopped around a bit first, but they try to stay ahead of the curve around here and usually get the newest stuff before anybody else. Naturally I'd look at the competition though!

I dont think I would switch right away. Due to the fact there is such a risk with infections and I would worry with a new staff. I like the staff at the place I am at. They are very friendly and helpful. Plus, being from a small town, I am sure the new place would be swarmed right away!!

Maybe I'd try the new salon if they had some sort of special (the cheapskate speaks!!!), but I'd ultimately stay at mine. The people that work there are just so nice, and I wouldn't want to lose that. The salon I went to before the one I go to now had girls working there who weren't at all helpful or very friendly, and I always felt uncomfortable. It's so nice NOT feeling that way now, and having staff that know me. And I love the equipment my salon has...I could go on and on.

I would check it out if they were closer and had more upgrades. But I'd probably stay at mine if for no other reason that I know the beds are well maintained.

I am content with my salon. It has the basics (except for the lotion) and some of the people are nice so I'm okay with going there. I probably wouldn't go to the new salon though, because I still have 12 more months to go until my contract runs out.

I wouldn't switch, no way.

For the most part, I am really happy with my salon, I just wish that the staff would spend less time on personal phone calls. People always end up waiting to get in a bed and/or don't get to ask questions they have on their minds. Service is key!

I'm happy with mine for the most part, I've been tanning there for about 6 years. I try to tan in the morning when the manager is there, so I don't have too many problems with the part-time help. I just wish they carried more lotions other than AG and SB. I always check out new salons that open, just to see what they are like, plus it's fun to try different beds out.

I'm happy with my salon -- and the owner is an old high-school classmate of mine. I probably wouldn't switch. Like BrownJen, I might just "check it out", especially if they have an introductory special.

I would definitely check out a new salon and see what they have to offer. The salon I tan at now is okay and all, but the new one might be better.

I don't have a membership with any salons, every salon in my area has issues and the one I would like to join is 65 miles away....so if we would get a good tanning salon up here in the wilderness I would join in a heartbeat!

I would check it out, just to see what type of beds and booths it has. We only have one spray-on booth in town, and it's about 40 minutes from where I live. I want to get a spray-on tan really bad!! *Grrr*

I am looking at a new place that is located closer to my home. It is new, so newer beds and it has a better selection of lotions. Plus its a nutrional store with a smoothie bar. The price is $5.00 more than what I am currently paying, but much closer, newer, and professional. I will probably change when my month ends.

Of course I'd have to check it out! They'd have to be totally awesome for me to switch though. I have checked out a newer salon around here recently, and while the beds were impressive, the cleanliness and staff were not, so I'm back to my good ol mom and pop salon with the older than dirt beds, but super clean salon and great staff.

I am very happy where I tan now, but I would diffently check out a new salon, just to see what they had, beds, lotions, etc. But most likely I would stay where I am at.

I really like the salon I found here the owner is really nice and her prices are good, The only way I would change is if a salon opened up that had a variety of beds, she only has 2 level 1 beds and 1 level 2, so if someone would put in a HP bed I would check it out.

I'm fairly happy with my current one, but if the other one was cheaper or sold other products, I might have a look just to see how it is.

I love the salon I tan at now, except for the hours. They are only open until 6 and its hard for me to work around that with my work schedule always changing. I try as many salons as I can...but none have as good as beds as mine so until another one opens I have to deal!
