How much does a month of unlimited cost for most of you? I visited the salon my friend goes to (nice! with all new beds) and a month of unlimited is $24.00 and I thought "wow" that is good, because I've read of you guys paying more than that.

There are quite a few salons around my house, and they charge anywhere from $14.99 (w/coupon, normally $18.00) to $40/ month. I pay $25.00 for unlimited use of VHR beds, and during that month, 20% off lotions.

Wow, thats high. Around here its about $35.00 a month unlimited use of base beds and $40.00 a month with lotions.

I pay $70 a month. I get unlimited 10, 20, stand-up, and VHR with HP facial use, one Mystic Tan, and 50% off of lotions. Yep, I pay a lot.

A few local hair salons that have only 1 & 2 beds charge $50.00/month for unlimited but the tanning salon with all the new beds & booths is $109.00 for 30 day membership. It must be the area because it seems like I pay so much more than most of you!

Mine works out to around $50/month, but I have a yearly package. It's a really nice place with I think 10 different types of beds and booths, from basic to 60 lamp VHR beds and booths, and all state of the art. You wouldn't believe how much even one session in some of those beds costs, and I can tan on whatever I want. Worth the money!

Depends on the type of beds they have. You can get a month for as little as $18 dollars or as high as 90. Depends upon how many months you buy and what type of beds are included in the pacakge.

I get a month unlimited for $30. My salon just has one type of bed. My old salon charged from $30-$50 a month auto pay for their beds.

wow.. you guys pay around $360-$600 a year! I'd need a second job to afford that!

My salon gives HUGE discounts to buy more than one month at a time. Just a single month, unlimited, is around $50. But then you can get 3 mos for $99. I paid for a year membership upfront, and the price worked out to only $19 a month. If you want to agree to a year membership, but pay a month at a time, it's $25 a month. So, yeah, if you can buy just a single month, unlimited, for $24, I think that's a great deal.

My salon doesn't have unlimited...(that I know of) If you have a membership, you pay $18.88 a month and then you have to purchase points (different beds are worth a different number of points)- if you have a membership and you buy a point package, you get twice as many points as you would get if you had bought the package and you weren't a member. It does make it cheaper (having a membership), I guess. We don't get discounts on lotions, though! I'm so jealous!

My salon is $39/mo. for 15-min. base beds. No discounts on lotions, though. There are upgrade packages available for the stand up, HP, etc, but I haven't looked at those prices yet because I don't think I'm ready to get out of the base bed yet. Every time I go in, they ask me if I want to upgrade.

the one I go to costs $34.00 a month...nothing added to that. You get a choice of bed or booth. Beds that you want for 20 mins. you have to pay a buck at each visit. If you want to use the Starship...you have to pay $4 a pop. This one bed (cannot recall the name), you pay $10.00 on top of the membership fee. It has 30 mins. and you lay on a thick pad covered by a beach towel and the lamps consist of rows of what appears to be like facial lamps. THIS PUPPY IS HOT !! I lasted 26 mins. and couldn't take it any more. Luckily I didn't burn. I know...I was playing with fire !!!!!!!!!!

I've found that all the salons here charge for per minute packages, so you tend to pace yourself, the last one I got was 120 minutes for £60 which was on special, also you pay as you go but it works out over £1 a minute so expensive it is. I would prefer the unlimited package as I could do more than 2 sessions a week without breaking the bank.

Living in the UK is so much more expensive than in the US. I would love to live there but the cost of living is outrageous.

I tan at the same place as sherlynn, and because I signed up on her family plan I get the unlimited vip pkg for $5 less a month then she pays. It's also such a new salon, that she has got to tan twice in the platium 10 min bed for free because they were selling vip pkgs to people and wanted those beds free for them so they upgraded sherlynn both times at no extra cost. never happens when I come in though! Oh well... LOL

I pay $30 a month for unlimited. If I upgrade to the higher beds it will cost me an extra amount but right now they are having a "happy hour" at the salon between certain hours and upgrades are half price so I upgrade at times.

I pay anywhere from $35-$50 for a month unlimited for any bed depending on the salon. There aren't many salons around with the beds talked about on here. All VERY basic.
One salon I go to has sunal(looks old)and a Hex. The other has some Dr. Kern and some other thing i've never heard of. I've never seen some of the upgrade beds talked of on here! I need to move!!!

tannin Ter-Bear, the bed with the towel and facial looking lamps is called a HIGH PRESSURE bed. This type of unit generally gives off 99% UVA rays [bronzing rays] and only 1% of UVB [burning rays].

I did buy a year package. But it wasn't horribly expensive, my salon is a little mom and pop type place, they don't have fancy beds. I paid $225 for a year, unlimited in the base beds, + 6 free upgrades. That's only $18.75 a month! Not bad at all, if you are able to come up that chunk of cash all at once.

I just bought a new package for $35 a month -- this includes base beds, facial beds, and standups, but you also get half-price for the HP beds and 15% off lotions. It's normally $55 but if you sign up for at least six months and have it deducted automatically, it's only $35. Definitely worth it for a $6.50 Matrix session and I don't have to think about when my package is running out next...

Back in May I bought an unlimited package of tanning for $99 till the end of the year. It include 5 free upgrades. Every month, the members, who paid the $99, get a special. So far its been something like, half price upgrades to the 650 beds, VHR beds, 600 bed, etc. Normally to upgrade to the 650 its like $12/session so to upgrade its $6/session. The 600 is normally $10 so for a member its $5/session. Or to upgrade to the VHR booth its normally $5 so for members its $2.50/session. Did I explain that well? lol
I am not sure how that compares to what you guys pay, but where I am from that is about as good as you are going to get!

$30/month unlimited for the base beds, $4.00 upgrade to next best bed, and $8.00 upgrade to the stand up (upgrade per session). They have unlimited for the better beds too, but I can't recall what they are. Because my husband and I are good customers and go during off peak hours, they usually upgrade us for free.

I pay $25.00 for a month of unlimited tanning. But right now my salon is running a special 5 weeks unlimited tanning for $24.99 plus a free pair of sunglasses and 25% off all lotions and tanning supplies. But on the other hand a new tanning salon went in right next door that she is trying to compete with so that may be the reason for the good deal ... ha ... but come October she will be moving and having a grand opening sale at the new place (less than a mile away) with the same deal. So its a special yes but an ongoing special. That make sense? ... ha

my $0.02: Buy a yearly membership in the late summer (ie august/sept) because most salons may be looking for customers during this time period and offer really low packages. i got a $95 (student discount) unlimited yearly package this way, then i talked the owner into upgrading it for $15 more to include the special beds/standups.

You guys are lucky.. my salon doesn't even offer unlimited monthly rates. We all pay per minutes and per bed. It's gotten pretty expensive considering a base bed will cost about $30 for 60 mins only, so you can imagine how much the stand ups and other beds cost.

in baltimore, that bed is called the ULTRA-BRONZER and it has no burning rays (UVB) only high-pressure/browning (UVA) bulbs. and under the 'beach towel' is a full-body massager that is user controlled. yep it gets HOT in there...but with the radio, massager & a big turbo fan on ya ~ you almost forget that you just paid $35 for a 24 minute session. thats right $35 per session... 12 minutes on one side, then you flip over and get 12 minutes on the other. the benefits are: you wont ever burn and you can skip about 10-12 days of tanning. works for me when time is short!!!

At my salon it's 55 up front which you pay once a year then 35 unlimited a month but you need to pay the 55 and 4 months up front so $475 a year unlimited. Not sure if U still have to pay the $1 and $1.50 extra a visit for some of the higher Powered beds.
