I hate going outside! I look so nice and toasty brown when I am inside and then I go outside in the bright hot Florida sun (yes, I am whining) and I look so PALE. Do you look dark even in the glaring sun?

Greta

Wear white clothing!
And I agree, when I step outside, I don't look as dark compared to when indoors. I think its because everything's brighter especially on low humidity days when the sky is real blue (my favourite weather!).

I look dark as long as I'm wearing my sunglasses. But as soon as I take them off, I think I look pale. I like to stand next to pale people to make me look darker. This works better than worrying what colors I'm wearing. Only problem is making sure I have someone white beside me at all times.

Light blue also makes tanned skin look terrific!

I love the light pastel colors with a tan. Pastel Orange looks really great with a dark tan.

color, I sooo agree on the light orange, coral thing. My tan plays off that color better than any other (except white!)
and on my toes a brownie colored polish or tomato red looks awesome!

Love the coral, too. Also pale yellow and light lime green.

I have my toes done in pink and white acrylic and that, too, looks good with brown skin.

PanAnna all of those colors work very well.

I love wearing White with a tan...the funny thing is that people notice my teeth before my tan because they say tanning makes my teeth look really white, lol, how funny is that? HAHA

Chica, I only wear pastels when I'm dark. I'm one of those guys I'm confident enough to wear whatever I want.

What a person wears is there business! So is masculinity determined by what color he wears????

colorgod, I'm TEASING!!!! wow someone sure is sensitive about wearing pastels.

that being said, I don't think any of the guys I've dated have ever worn pastels. My last boyfriend was a lifeguard and he was suuuuuuuuuuper dark... but he was more of a blue, orange, green kinda guy.

Greta

I feel so dark inside and my legs always seem to look dark but my arms are another story. Do you ever feel like your arms aren't as dark as the rest of you? I have been using a tingle on them to help them out a little bit.

I'm still a blue, orange, green kinda a guy, but I like to mix in some pastels from time to time.

Besides white, colour wise, I don't do pastels well. I like darker colours or bright colours. I also like stripes.
What's really funny is whenever I go to a Hastings book store and if I'm wearing my dark green shirt, I get mistaken for a Hastings employee!

Im new here, but i just had to put my two cents worth in.... The color Torqouise looks amazing one someone with a tan! It's my signiture color. Everyone who knows me knows that i wear torqouise when i want to feel tropical and exotic. Mix that color with a tan, and it's like you've been to the bahamas.

Greta

and seeing how it is a very "in" color of the moment, all the more reason to wear it

Well it is almost Spring and those pastel colors are popping up all over. I love to wear white near my face it makes me feel so dark, but them so does black. Go figure.
