what little "extras" does your salon provide?

mine has tons of magazines, cookies, bowls of candy, body splashes in the rooms, mints on the beds, and a fully-stocked bathroom with all manner of toiletries....

Your salon spoiles you! We just get free tantoos and towels. Sometimes if we're really lucky, there'll be a trashcan in the room

WOW, what a salon Chica!! The salon I go to doesn't offer any extras other than an occasional free sample of moisturizers (Angel, AG Tan Extender).

I get free samples fairly often, they always have candy (that I never want), etc, etc.

My salon gives out Jolly Ranchers. I think that's it. They have a bowl of them on a table with magazines in the front, and then there's usually one waiting on top of a towel on the tanning bed. I don't think they give out free samples. Does anyone have a salon that gives out Winkease? I could've sworn SOMEWHERE on here I'd read something about someone's salon doing that, but I forget. My salon charges 50 cents for those.

^^lol lucky, I'm in the same boat with Peaches, mine charges 50 cents (not a big deal, lol). but as far as extras...you get a towel and free heart tantoos - that's it!

We get free peppermint on the towel, and all the rooms have a trash can and chair and cd player.

wow, either y'all are spoiled, or I'm getting ripped off! LOL At my salon, there is a shelf full of towels in each room, a cd player or radio and free tantoos and peppermints at the front desk. Oh, and usually some "tester" bottles of Angel, and other after tan moisturizers. Huh, I guess that's not TOO bad, since this place is kinda small, and fairly cheap prices.

The extras don't really matter all that much to me as long as the place is clean and the beds are maintained and the staff is friendly.

where i work we have a vanity with deodorant, witch hazel, saline, etc. we would have more if people didn't steal it all of the time. for some reason they like to take the lotion and the air freshner out of the bathroom. i can't understand why since suave and glade are under a buck each.

We have candy on the table, magazines in the waiting room. Once in awhile we will provide a free sample cup of an after tan moisturizer, spray on deoderant in each room for those stinky peeps, also we have a sample bar of lotion. Price depends on how much that bottle of lotion runs, but we'll put it in a little sample cup for you, and if you buy it that day you get 15% off the bottle. We also provide eyewear.

Ok..we get one free new release movie a month with our tanning package (SO also owns the video store next door )...trash cans in all rooms.....3 Body sprays in each room...spray deoderant....wet ones...rubber gloves for bronzers, moisturizer,2 towels sometime there are new tanning lotion samples on the pillows, peepers, little potpourri crocks in each room, smells so good, cd player with headphones, and a list of area radio stations and where to find them, I nice ratan chair with cushion, we have a water message table that is free once a week to those with a package, love that thing!!!!...you get to try any lotion free before you buy...this place is really decorated very nice....you feel like you are on a tropical vacation or something...it has to be the most relaxing salon I have ever been in.....this guy is definatly into customer loyalty...he has mine for sure and many others in the community even with the chain salons and the other choices in the area.....

My salon doesn't have any extras,just a towel & eye protection It is Very Clean and the beds are well maintained and my Salon Owner is great, I do get free samples every once in a while The only thing I wish she would do is put some music in the tanning rooms.

mine has bowl of yucky hard candy! lol Free Towel and Tattoos o trash can too!!!! They have a speaker in each room for the radio so you can listen to whatever the employee is listening too!!! THAT SUCKS!!!

I provide towels, tantoos, goggles, stereo, fresh-ease wipes,witch hazel(for bronzer removal), spray deoderant, and Matahari Luminous Lotion in each room. I also have bottled water, cokes, and fresh smoothies. I think giving my clients extra has gone a long way.

The salon I go to used to have candy, but it started attracting ants. They used to be really good about having baby wipes and deo. in the rooms & bathrooms, but lately its been bad. They NEVER give any free samples!

used to be stocked with *freshen up* stuff in the bathroom until it was very obvious that someone was urinating into all the stuff. now they have even had to go as far as getting a wall-mounted soap dispenser b/c they were even peeing into the pump bottle of hand soap.

Yep...I washed my hands with the soap pump once, too...and it smelled awful to me, so I got some hand sanitizer out of my backpack and rubbed it all over my hands.
I just thought they were using really bad, cheap soap, and never used it again, but never said anything either...LOL.

Tantoos, towels, trashcans, and tunes. They used to provide free wink-ease but I never see those anymore. However you can borrow goggles if you need to, but they get to hold your keys or DL in return. New rule since too many people sneaking off with goggles! I take my own, so no worries.

However, the booths are always spotless, I have never had to wait for a booth.

My biggest downer is no bathroom or sink At least not one for public or patron use.

The tanning salon that I tanned at right before I bought my yearly package @ Bronz Bunz had everything! Towels, body sprays in the room, Noxema astringent pads, radio w/headphones, deoderant, baby wipes...She even kepy a bottle of Hempz moisturizing lotion in the room for after you were finished with your session. I wish I could have stayed there forever but it was really expensive. The place I tan only now only has towels, radios and fans in the room. He doesn't even give us spray deoderant!! Oh well, guess you get what you pay for...

My new salon has a stool, peppermint, towel, and trashcan, free tantoos...nothing else.

let's see.... towels, goggles, deodarant, make-up remover wipes, hair bands, individual radios in each room, water cooler, a big plastic jug full of candy, fans in each room, waiting area with magazines and a tv, wire mesh trash cans and a pop machine. Not too shabby!!!!

Well...
In each of the rooms there's a chair, trashcan and mirror. On the bed there's a towel and a mint. In the hallway there's a water thingy and there's a waiting area with magazines and such. Winkease are 50 cents and I don't know how much tantoos are.

I think I'm going to start going to a new salon starting tomorrow though, just for a change in atmosphere

The salon I go to has Angel moisturizer and deodorant in the rooms with the HP beds. The regular rooms have the usual, candy, goggles, fresh towel, cd player, chair. There is a public vanity with baby wipes, moisturizer, body sprays, etc and a water/soda machine. Up front they have a lotion bar with samples and tantoos.

Ok I've been to several salons: one offered candy, tantoo, etc. This is how I feel about this........I don't really need the candy, I want to choose my own tantoo, the only thing i want is a mirror and most places don't have one. The one i currently tan at offers goggles and towles. Lotion samples $3-5. I love my salon.
