do they take the extra step?

is your salon willing to work things out with you when you're unhappy? will they exchange a lotion? will they give you a free session if bulbs are burned out? do they care if you leave the salon dissatisfied?

If I have a legitimate gripe they do. Like one time I had an appointment first thing when they opened, and the employee who was supposed to be working that shift forgot to come in, so the place was closed. I called the owner and he gave me a couple free tans after apoligizing. I wasn't so mad after that.

As a tanning salon employee....we do tend to go the extra step to make our customers happy....such as upgrading them if we have messed up on appointments or like njchica said, if there is a bulb out, I think it is the right thing to do for your customers becuase if it wasnt for you guys some places might not be in business!

I can actually say I have no problems with my current salon, but with how I see the owners are, if there were a problem, they would take care of it immediately.
My old salon....FORGET IT. I hated dealing with them.

It was so cold here this morning that my salon owner came in 15 minutes early to run all the beds for 10 minutes to warm them up for her early customers I thought that was very considerate. The old salon I went to was always so cold in the room and the bed that by the time the bed got warm the session was over

If my SO's got a package deal, and I don't have enough $$ right then, she lets me make payments, which I think is really cool She's also so sweet and nice all the time, it's hard to have any compaints about her salon, and I've never heard or seen anyone complain about anything yet

2 of the 3 salons I use do. The third... they could care less, I got there simply because its so close and the other salons i use one is 10 minutes away the other os 30 minutes away.

my salon is pretty good to me im always happy there and sometimes they even give my daughter money for the candy machine while she waits for me

I stopped going to a salon because I complained that there were 2 bulbs out on the bed and they gave me a half hearted "sorry".... never again. I bought a 5 session package at this place and was annoyed about someting every time I went in. I used up the sessions but will never go back.

we do it all..carry balances..give extra time to get ready..offer free upgrades if we dont have a regular bed available..give free samples..try a free sample before you purchase a bottle ..stay open a little later if your late for the last appointment..order your fav. lotions...many things to keep the clients happy and coming...

i keep forgetting to tell the girl at the counter that there is a lamp out in a bed i use. dang it! 2nd time i've noticed and then forgotten.....
oh well.
i usually get good service when i tan.
and salonpro gave me a free sample when i went to see her. i'm paying her back tomorrow with some pyro, whether she wants it or not!

We will always take exchanges on lotions, if there is a legitimate reason that you don't like it... too hot, not hot enough, makes you feel sticky... whatever..

Also, if anyone EVER has a problem, they always tell us and we will do whatever it takes to fix it....

tie a string around your finger boo....oh never mind..it might leave a tan line..salons need to be accomadating..especially here since theres one on every block..well not every block..but there is a lot of compitition and so far our longevity has held up...ive only got one more week to go by the way..but i will still get to tan for free..thank goodness
