View Full Version : a note about our \"advice\"

We all speak from our personal experiences with lotions.... except for the owners who speak of their clients' experiences with lotion. We can share our favorites, likes, dislikes, etc... but all products work differently on different people. What works best for me is not necessarily what will work best for you.

When looking for new lotions, it's important to do some research to find out what your options are... and then be ready to try many samples of various products before you find something that you really love.

We are lucky because we have lots of wonderful people here on iamTAN.com and there is a wealth of information and experience with lotions. But even WE don't all agree on which things are the best... take everyone's advice with a grain of salt and get ready to figure out what's best for yourself.

I'll never forgive Anya for telling me how wonderful Ambrosia Dark Deluxe is.

of course... that's what I meant when I said "research what's available".... find out what other people have used and liked/hated...

AG makes the lotions that smell like oranges.

Greta

I can tell you that AG's Dark Fire does NOT smell citrusy. Wish it did because I LOVE it! But a lot of AG lotions smell good.

Maybe I'm weird but I actually like the citrus scents. That prolly explains why I liked AG HOT! so much, and now, 2 twisted which smells similar to HOT!
I love 2 twisted!

I agree with njchica'c comments. I strongly value people's opinions on here, for the most part, I think most have tried more lotions than I. But, with my skin type, I feel it in the end is up to me on whether I like a product or not..

it's very important to sample a lotion before buying...

yes it is totally important to sample a product. you never know how it is going to react to your individual skin type and body chemistry

Good advice Chica. I always try to sample a lotion before I buy it.

Yeah, I have learned my lesson and try to sample lotions before I buy a whole bottle.
