Space Camp or Aviation Challenge?

Has anyone ever been to space camp or had a child that went to space camp? Did they enjoy it? Was it worth the $$$$? My son wants to go to aviation challenge. Before we spend over a grand on tuition and transportation, I'd like to know if it's worth it.

I have nothing but good things about it. Are you thinking about the Huntsville one?

Yes. They closed the one in Titusville. But he wanted to go to Huntsville, anyway. It was the only one that offered anything other than space camp. Do you know anything about the difference in tracks, ie. thunderbirds, blue angels, no track?

i thought they only had 2 in the US? One in AL and one in TX?

There were 3. One in Ca, one in Fl, and the one in Al. All have closed except the one in Huntsville.
