I've seen so much hype on these and it seems like all the brands are putting one out now. I have so many different moisturizers already...I was just wondering do you find that they make a difference?

Always the doubter here, but I am willing to try anything once! (By the way this is post Number 1000 for me, no need to applaud but thanks for considering!)

I've tried those lotions and I don't see any considerable difference. I'm still armed with my razor each morning!

tried them too! Still shaving just as often, though legs do feel smoother, hair is a little finer with continous use. I only use one now if I am not tanning that day.

That whole "rank" system, where the more you post the better your color is a good way to motivate people to post more, and achieve the "perfect tan" which parallels our lives.. lol

my sister has tried those before and she said they didn't really work for her.

After using a shave minimizing moisturizer, my hair is a little finer, but no major change enough to buy more of the stuff.

Sounds like I don't need to add another moisturizer to the overflowing basket I already have.

Ardell puts out this one called Surgi-Hair Stop. It really works well. If you use it repeatedly it prevents hair reapperance. I love it. I got it at drugstore.com for like $10. It is a gel and is way better then the lotions out there.

Okay, I'm willing to consider it, but isn't that one for facial hair? What does it smell like?

I've used the Jergens Shave Minimizer Lotion. It seemed to work pretty well. I definitely had to shave less often, but it smelled really bad. It had an insect repellent-like smell that lasted for about a half hour. Yuck!

the jergans one has mineral oil in it so i haven't bought it to try it i need to find one without mineral oil in it i think the aveeno one doesn't have mineral oil in it though so i may buy it.

Surgi-Hair Stop has a facial and body gel. It has a like a fresh clean smell. Contains NO mineral oil {which I know is good for some:) } and is made with fruit enzymes (Papain=Papaya).

There are so many out there now. I saw one from Avon that claims to slow down the hair growth in like 2 weeks, where Jergens Naturally Smooth takes 8 weeks. Aveeno has one out for the face now too.
