I had that happen to me last week. I was using a lotion with dha in it. I took a shower and used an exfoliator and washed part of my tan off. I just used a bronzer the next day and my tan looked fine again. You might give it a try.

Are they small spots? Could be "Sun Spots". It is a fugus and can be cured by using Norvell Halt or Arrest. It is like dandruff.

When you say "peeled", do you mean from a burn? If so, avoid it in the future. Apply aloe to heal, but if there is no more pink or soreness, use a liquid soap and mitt to remove. Moisturize while skin is still damp.
