The salon I've been going to has been pretty crappy lately. The people working know nothing about tanning, hardly anyone ever shows up for work, and it seems like the salon is being neglected. I went tanning today and the manager was there. She started questioning me (if really freaked me out a first) and then she started giving me all the adive I've read here. That made me feel better, because at least one person at the salon knows their stuff. She told me that she's the new manager and that she's been having a lot of problems with the employees and that she's trying to turn everything around. It made me feel better about the whole situation, because I can just tell that she's trying her best to make the salon as nice as possible. I think I may even ask if she has any job openings.

Great! It's nice to here that maybe the info. we all share will be put to good use! It'd be great if you could get a job there (make sure you ask for free tanning!)

I'm happy you talked to her. I'm sure it makes it easier when they have customers willing to cooperate and support their attempts to improve their salons.

When things settle down for her, she may want to give her customers a survey to see what changes they'd like to see. Maybe you could suggest this, and win some points towards that job.

My salon just did the survey thing and gave everyone that turned their survey back in a free tan.

Yea, the survey idea seems like a really good idea. I wish my salon would do that every so often.
