Did you think it was Scary? or Stupid?

I thought that it was scary, but had a rather dumb story line..

It was kinda cool how it looked like it was over then the whole "she never sleeps" thing...and boom, almost every one dies.

story line was abit lame but they really made the best of it. I liked it lots. If you get a chance check out ringu. Its the original Japenese version. Creepy.

I thought it was a really creepy movie. Not so much scary as just plain ol' creepy! Like her crawling out of the T.V! Ahhh! LOL I love scary movies though, so I liked it. I agree Summer's Tan, they didn't explain things as well as they could have. I think they should have added another 30 minutes or so to make the story a little better.

Ringu was pretty cool. There were some parts that would have made the American version way scarier if they'd kept them in. My friends and I have been joking this week that Ringu sounds like some kind of gross disease, though!

Well it was...in the original japanese books the "girl" was a hemaphrodite, and was strangled and tossed into the well. She had some rare form of chicken pox invitro that caused her to be both sexes. So she was able to "spread" the pox through the video, it had a 7 day lifespan, ergo you died in 7 days. If you did not spread it by copying the video, then you died. Kinda silly concept, but it worked.....

I was just jokin with ya,Nitro.I believe it takes alot more to shock people today because everyone grows up seeing so much shocking & disturbing stuff through the media.
Psycho was a big,big deal in its day.It's pretty tame compared to a modern day horror flick.The girl coming out of the TV was creepy.You kids have already seen too much.You're hardened.My kids are,too.It's not really a bad thing.Just the way of the world.I think watching the news every day could do it to you,as well.

I hated this movie i had to sleep with the lights on the night i whatched this though my husband got a laugh out of that. It really was scary to me it creeped me out.
