lotion before bed [Archive]

I heard (somewhere) that your skin loses 60% of its moisture overnight. I don't know if it's true or not but it freaked me out. I now ALWAYS moisturize my entire body before bed and I've noticed a definitely improvement in its softness...

does anyone else do this?

I lotion before I go to bed it seems to help me too.

Yea, that's true - I Always do my whole lotion routine before bed and then again before I get dressed in the morning- I haven't had a problem with drying skin all season.

Yes, I moisture before bed very night. I usually tan before bed too and shower in the morning.

I moisturizeallthe time. Keep bottles everywhere......I am always grabing some and plopping it on. Right now I have a bottle of Luminous on my desk....really like that one!!!!!

Yea, I've also heard that you lose moisture overnight. I'm obsessed with lotion and put it on all the time. Defintely put some on before going to bed, I've been doing it for years, you'd be surprised what a difference it makes for your skin.

I take a bath before I go to bed, so I moisturize at night too. I also do it before I get dressed every morning.

I usually shower at night also and then put lotion on before bed and then again in the morning when I get dressed.

Yep! I lotion myself up right before bed, in the morning after my shower, and about 2 more times during the day. I have REALLY dry skin and since I have had this moisturizing routine, my skin has felt soooooo much better and no dryness problems at all.

I'm usually already lotioned up because I moisturize after tanning in the evenings.

I didn't know that but I always lotion myself up before bed, lol. Once in the morning after my shower, sometimes before I go out, and then before bed. So far so good! Thanks for the info!

I Moisturize in the Am after i shower.... In the afternoon( i shower after work too), and before bed i moisturize again.
