I'm not sure my eye protection is working right. I use ultra sunGlobes and I still see some light coming in the sides if I open my eyes. Also sometime a few hours later, my eyes seem irritated!

Am I ruining my eyes? What should I do?

Find out what your salon offers and try something else as soon as possible.

My daughter tanned for three years without eyewear and now has night vision loss, so be comfortable with what you are using.

Maybe I am a total spaz but with the sunglobes are the pointy sides suppose to face in or out?

I have never used Sun Globes and do not have any on hand, so therefore feel unqualified to answer your question. Which way provides the most coverage for the shape of your eye sockets? Why is your salon not helping you with this very important issue?

I carry the SunGlobes and the pointed part goes at the inside of your eye and the rounded edge is on the outside part. If it isn't covering enough of the light, you might need to use something with strings on it. Also, you mentioned that your eyes would feel irritated later on. Do you wear contacts?? If so, they may be drying out because of the heat. It is best not to wear them if they bother you. Otherwise, make sure you have eyedrops to re-wet your eyes (this will work whether or not you have contacts).
