Browning Lotion ?

Can I get some anwsers on this topic? Please. I have a pretty good base tan and want to get darker faster, I go for 20 mintues three times a week and I was wanting to try a good lotion that will darken me up faster,I am getting married in august and need some good color to my shoulders for my strapless dress.Bronzer is like a temp thing right? I don't want that.I want something that will increase and not fade away.Thanks I am all new to all of this and also should I increase my time?

I haven't tried too many different lotions yet - but I have some coming- If you check the love it or shove it boards everyone here has some great recommendations on all the different lotions they've tried. I don't think you really need to up your time, 20 minutes is max. time for most beds. Between now and August if you keep going 3x a week and find a good tanning lotion you should be nice and dark. I wouldn't use the bronzer for fear of it rubbing off, especially on your wedding dress.

If you have a base tan, you could be at your plateau. Try a mild tingle like JA Melon Frappe or CalTan Dark Kickin' Ale and see if that will kick your tan up a notch.

You are both right, California Tan makes Emerald Bay.

Brownberry, do you feel you aren't getting darker? Have you upgraded to a more powerful bed? What kind of lotion have you been using? What works for one may not for another...

The bed i am using is just a normal lay down bed not sure what kind. The lotion I was using was L.A Express which was doing nothing. I am new to all of this.I used a tingler called tattoo lastnight and it seemed to give me something more.I go for 20 mintues and just started the three times a week. I am going to try 25 tommorrow and see what happens. Is the CalTan Dark Kickin' Ale a bronzer that will wash off because I don't want that.Thanks so much

Brown, I recommend every other day while building, until you get to where you want to be. After that, cut back to a couple times a week to maintain. Bronzers are good for what they do, but the darkness of them varies and they should be used a certain way to get the most benefit from them. A bronzer doesn't sound like what you are really looking for. Tattoo is a fairly strong tingle, depending on your sensitivity to them. If the strength of that particular tingle did not bother you, keep using it!
